Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by UNI Gard Anti- Freeze Worked as expected winterizing a northern Minnesota cabin! October 4, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NOT FOR BOAT ENGINES Uni-Gard -50 Uni-Proof Anti-freeze has ethanol. Therefore it should NOT be used to winterize boat engines. Rated 1 star because its misleading packaging is too much like products that are recommended for winterizing boat engines. Boat engines should be winterized with an antifreeze based on propylene glycol & corrosion inhibitors (no ethanol/ethyl alcohol, no methanol/methyl alcohol, no ethylene glycol). Read MSDS's to be more certain, because a product label can say it's based on propylene glycol, & not disclose that it is also blended with ethanol. October 20, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Anti freeze is frozen in my washer fluid tank right now. It says it is freeze proof to -50 on the bottle. Well its +5 Degrees today and I cant use my car on the freeway because my windows will get all gunked up and I cant wash it off because this product is frozen in my washer fluid tank. I have the rest of the bottle in my car (becuause there is always some left over, and its slush) that means it had nothing to do with user error. Its just a GARBAGE product that is costing me time and money. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET FROZEN WASHER FLUID OUT OF THE TANK?!?! Recap: Current temperature: 5 Degrees Anti freeze protected temperature: -50 Degrees Current state of my car: Barely useable until it warms up and I can empty the tank of this GARBAGE product. dont believe me? Buy a bottle and leave it in your car until its under 5 degrees. Youre welcome for the heads up January 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Customer Service I ordered this product online. Within an hour, Home Depot sent me an e-mail stating the order was ready and that I could pick it up at Customer Service. The staff was very efficient and cordial. It's very easy to order online and pickup in the store. Go for it! January 27, 2015
