CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 124 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Grabber! This grabber saves me the trouble of dragging a step stool to the laundry room every time I need something out of the cabinet. We put in a pedestal washer/dryer combo, and they're so deep and tall I can't reach the cabinets without help anymore! I'm impressed by the overall sturdiness, and most of the grabber is constructed of aluminum, with the exception of the plastic handle. The rubberized gripping surfaces have small fins that deform around the object being lifted in order to give a more secure hold. There's also a magnet built into one of the grippers that can pick up a decent sized lag bolt. The handle is designed in such a way that the gripping action is naturally activated when holding a heavy object. This design feature makes it easier to pick up and hold larger objects with less fatigue. The jaws couldn't quite get around a jumbo roll of paper towels, but once I nudged them over, I could grab them by the tube in the middle. The jaws are big enough to easily fit over the smallest dimension of a standard box of tissues though. It can also handle picking up smaller objects as well - I found I could easily retrieve dimes, pennies, and quarters off of the floor. As for the jaw width, I measured it at 5.5" at its widest point, and 4.125" at it's narrowest clearance when open. Overall, these grabbers are an excellent solution for reaching high places and avoiding bending over to pick up objects on the floor. The grip strength is very good, and the design is excellent. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I only wish I had found one earlier ! Very easy to handle, well constructed and great bargain at that price. I use it at work to retrieve fallen tools and debris behind shrubs and bushes, along with handing materials to the guys up on the walkboards. It also has many other uses, and I recommend this tool to a lot of my coworkers. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great tool to pick up pine cones Is easy to use, saves your back and easy to store.. April 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Product! I am a landscape photographer and I use this device to pick up trash in Acadia National Park that would otherwise spoil my photos. The first thing I will say is that the precision of this device is remarkable. I can easily grab and pick up a tiny cigarette butt with ease. The jaws also open wide enough to pick up beer cans, etc. My only complaint is that the actuating handle has quite a bit of travel and tension and my hand gets very tired opening it after about 10 minutes of squeezing. But that may have more to do with my arthritis than the design of the tool. All in all a good product and I would buy it again. March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better than most This is stronger and better than any others we have used. April 27, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NOT FOR WORK - BAD DESIGN If you need to use one of these as part of your job, not just as an aid or convenience, you'll appreciate this observation. I worked roadside debris cleanup. There are 2 pinch points on this grabber. The first is at the top of the handle where the lever connects at the top. This spot will pinch the inside of your wrist. The second pinch point is on the edges of the handle. As you close your grip your fingers will sometimes get pinched between the handle and the main body. Also, because the handle is inverted it will begin to feel heavier the longer you use it. This is opposed to those grabbers that are Y-shaped which allow you to hold them with your hand opened, in a non-grip manner. February 16, 2016
