I purchased this fire pit last year (same manufacturer, different design, thoguh mine had sun and stars). I thought it was a little overpriced but since i never had a fire pit i bought it anyway.
It is well made, however it barely lasted one year. I did not buy a cover for it (the fire pit was expensive enough).
i went to use my pit just last weekend and found that it rusted completely out from the sides; which seemed unusual to me since water doesnt sit there.
one year of a fire pit i used only about 6 times does not make this a sturdy product for those of us who do not wish to perform maintenance.
your mileage may vary. i would not recommend this for frugal users....

The piece arrived well packaged and with no damage. All parts were accounted for and assembly was very simple with a small power screw driver. The quality of the bowl, legs and handle seems good but the screen top is very thin material and if you used it over a good fire it would most likely melt. I did purchase a can of high temp stove/bbq paint and gave the inside bottom of the bowl a real heavy coating of paint as an added layer of protection against rust. Also, for the price I feel that a weather proof cover should be included in the kit. Overall it is nice to sit around and with the large bowl you can put decent sized branches in it with having to cut them up into kindling wood.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by apfore Wished I would have gotten something else
I purchased this as a Christmas gift. It was only lit once and now (January 31) it is completely covered in rust. I thought this was made for outdoors! There are plenty of fire pits that are less than half the price of this one. I thought I was getting something made better than those cheap ones! That's a laugh. Just buy the 89.00 fire pit and throw it away after a year.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HulaMom Great-looking fire pit, sensibly designed
This fire pit is nice and deep, which seems more safe. It also has a rail for resting skewers, perfect for marshmallow-roasting.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PopPop Easy to assemble. Large enough for good size fire.
Just what we needed. Pit is deep enough for nice fire. Keep off of lawn; it will scorch the grass below.

Nice deep bowl, great relief design pattern. Metal is a little thin it could be sturdier.
