Answer:
I am almost 60 years old, and I am easily able to lift and move this fire table. If I had to guess, I would say max 25 to 30 lbs. With the propane tank, I need a hand because the table is big and can be bulky. With tank, maybe 50 to 60 lbs.

Hello Lakelady and thank you for your question.
The shipping weight of the fire pit is 66 pounds (in a shipping box with packaging materials and without a propane tank). Always use this outdoor fireplace on a hard, level, non-combustible surface such as concrete, rock or stone. A wooden deck would not be a safe operating surface.

I would like to place this on my covered patio. Is this something that would be safe to use under a roof (my gas grill is already being used there)?

Answer:
I bought one for our Private Golf Club and we actually have it under a tent. There are no fumes. The sides and top of the table stay cool to the touch even though it puts out the heat. We've used it for a year now and everyone loves it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it.... Love it.....a little trouble lighting it at first, but eventually figured it out. June 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Absolutely in Love!!! Love my fire pit and love seat! My deck became a favorite place to gather with friends! This fire pit is the best purchase I made - it gives warmth on a chilly CA's nights and looks awesome! Especially in the evenings, when all glasses are shining with different colors..like an Irish pot of Gold! Assemble was easy and I've done it myself! Thank you again for a nice quality pieces! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Propane Gas Outdoor Fire Pit This was pretty easy to put together and so nice not to have the smoke, sparks that come with regular fire pit. Downside you can't cook over it but we have a grill for that. It's just the right size for our deck and no fear of a spark catching the wood on fire. Not as much heat as wood but that's okay, the flames are so relaxing and enough heat for what we wanted. The size is perfect for us. We love it. Had our Halloween party and it was a big hit. The glass pieces sparkle and it's so relaxing. Intend to sit out even on a snowy night because it's enable someone like me with SAD to enjoy being outdoors looking at the stars and feeling like I am in the woods! November 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Look. This fire table is a great value. I am thrilled with the look, the price, and the quality. It has so many of the glass rocks, we actually have left over. The shelf for the propane tank slides in & out for easy access. Light enough to move if needed. Everyone who sees this is impressed. This actually puts out quite a bit of heat, which, for Florida isn't all that great, but for colder climates, you'll love it. March 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very happily surprised! Could not be more happy! I love this fire pit! I didn't really want to spend but a couple hundred on a fire pit but I am so glad to spend a little more on this unit and it turn out as nice as it is. It is very easy to assemble, only took about 30 minutes from start to fire. Very quick delivery right to my house. I first thought that I should get a 40,000 or 50,000 BTU unit because of the flame size but I couldn't be more happy with this one. The bigger units might be a little better for winter but for summer time use you are only using up your LP cylinder with a bigger unit. A little research tells me a 30,000 BTU unit will last for 14 hours on a 20 lb cylinder. Our exchange price is 19.95, that's only $1.42 per hour of entertainment. Pretty cheap! I also like the fact that it is very easy for 2 people to move if I want to relocate it for any reason. June 23, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoying ThHis Purchase So far this has been a great purchase. We have enjoyed it several times. Comes with everything you need except for gas bottle. October 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome fire pit! I really like this fire pit! It is really nice looking with the slate on top. Cover for propane tank completely hides tank from view in lower cabinet. It did take 2 people to assemble, at least for step 1. Not difficult to assemble, good instructions. Very pleased with purchase! Picture posted is on low setting. August 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely addition to our front deck ambiance Easy to assemble and easy to light. We love it and all our neighbors are getting their own. August 12, 2013
