Are there 4 legs (2 on each side and 2 on each end) or 2 legs? It will not fit snugly if legs stick out on both sdies and the fireplace width is less than 41". Can you provide a side view? Or does the screen lean against the fireplace surround?
Thanks

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 89 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dissappointed After assembly and placement I noticed the screen was defective. I called Home Depot but the return process was so involved that I decided to live with the hole in the middle of my fireplace screen. I'm not happy with the purchase nor with Home Depots response to my problem. February 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent value The screen fit perfectly and looks great. It is used to protect toddlers from touching the hot glass front of our gas fireplace January 13, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good quality, Great value! Very Nice fireplace screen. If you want a screen that looks good and does what it should I recommend this one... December 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great quality an price! Would definitely recommend to someone looking for a great quality screen that isn't ridiculously expensive. January 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product - sturdy, strong, good design. Exactly the same that is selling for MUCH more elsewhere. We are thrilled with this fire screen. Wanted a black screen that we could see the fire through without having to peer through leaves, flowers, etc. This screen is well-made and is a simple, clean design that does exactly what it's supposed to - sit over the fireplace opening with an un-obstructed view. Perfect. Price was amazing. 100% lower than comparables. January 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just Perfect This is exactly what I was looking for....Very classic and plain...after all, the main attraction is the fire! April 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value This screen works well and fit perfectly in my fireplace. It's very plain, but that was the look I was going for, it highlights the fire, not the screen. Construction was very good for the cost. The screen is woven metal mesh. not expanded metal mesh like my other fireplace screens. Assembly was easy, requiring a philips screwdriver and a pliers or wrench. I used some thread lock compound do make sure the screws would stay tight, but had no issues with the quality or size of the hardware as other reviews had mentioned, or with the assembly. All in all, it's a great value and works perfectly for my fireplace. April 10, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Piece of Junk The mesh on the screen had many blemishes in the wiring, misaligned with loose wires all over. You could tell this was a manufacturing defect, not shipping damage. The product is cheap and ugly. We knew by the price that it wasn't going to be top of the line, and also did not expect it to offer a lifetime of use or even any use. Our objective was to put in front of a fireplace to clean things up a bit when house goes on market. It just needed to be borderline visually appealing, instead of a black dirty fireplace hole, but it couldn't even do that. We'll stick with the black hole. May 19, 2015
