Customer Reviews

Bronze Faux Wicker 32 in. Propane Gas Fire Pit with Ceramic Tile Surround is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 91.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from it works just fine. Its a lowest-end fire table and fairly cheap looking (but the decent ones are $$hundreds$$ more). We followed some other design cues here and ditched the lava rock for bronze mirror fireglass and also had a thick piece of smoked-grey plexiglas cut as a cover to keep dirt out and serve as a tabletop. Total cost was $100 additional ($60 glass, $40 plexi). Used 5lbs of pea gravel as a base for fireglass and then laid down a thick layer of glass on top. If you're ordering glass it took 15lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Firepit This firepit is great! It was easy to set up. The stand and tiles are very attractive, and the tiles are wide enough to accommodate a glass or small plate. The electronic ignition makes it a snap to light, and the flames resemble a campfire (more so than other gas pits we've seen). Last but not least, the cover is sturdy and it has velcro ties on each side so it stays put even under windy conditions. Some suggestions: Rinse off the rocks before you put them in the pit as there is a lot of dust in the bag. Also, remember to use the cover if there's any chance of rain. We left ours uncovered just once and the pit screws started rusting. We painted it with a high temperature spray paint and that resolved the problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great! Would definitely buy again. I added 30 pounds of lava rock so the pile extends above the sides of the fire bowl. Makes a much larger flame and heats up a whole patio area. Easy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Love it! Love it! Easy to put together. We ordered glass fire rocks to put inside. Got a glass top and a new canvas cover. It is absolutely perfect for our deck.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's "OK" It's a nice looking piece of patio furniture and when I get it to turn on, it works well, but it's doesn't turn on that easily. It also should have come with a few more of the hot rocks, it looks a bit empty. I think its priced too high for the value. I have a Webber grill that lights up the minute you tough the ignite button. This fire pit takes a while, not sure why, but I've gone through all the instructions over and over again. Maybe it was the store assembly that is limiting propane release, I'm not sure, either way, it's ok. I will keep it because it's far too much work to return it. And when it finally lights up, it's quite nice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would recommend this product. All the reviews I read are right. It took about an hour to put together. We did rinse the lava rocks and have purchased more lava rocks for the unit. Get them from the garden department because they are cheaper and you get more rock for your dollar. The cover immediately tore as we were putting it on and so we will be ordering a new cover for unit. We are getting a little rust around the screw area from moisture that builds up after a rain. Finally, we experienced trouble starting the unit up and getting a fire. We held down the start button for 10 seconds but 20-25 seconds was needed. We called the company to find this out but after holding the button down for 25 seconds, it started right away.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It looks nice If you want a pretty addition to your out door area versus somethig to keep you warm this looks nice. It does not kick out much heat. I bought extra lava roacks to add - I read that will increase the heat but I have not added them yet. It is not THAT easy to put together took my husband and son a little less than 2 hours. There are no instruction on the electric ignition but we figured out the battery was already in there.... We have a coverd patio and have used a few times it still smells as if burning metal. We had a wood burning fire place but it smoked some much it not pleasent which is why we went to a gas but it smokes as well if there is any wind (not quite as bad).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LP Gas Firepit Firepit construction and operation good to excellent; however, product is packaged poorly and subject to damage. Initial order arrived damaged and packaged so poorly that it was difficult to re-package to return for a replacement. On its operation, I would prefer the flame intensity to be a little more robust, but overall the product is above average in quality and performance. One notable deficiency: the plastic cover supplied with the product is totally inadequate and ripped in two places by the sharp corners when installed the first time.
