Can i buy new fire screen

Asked by: B101
You can not buy a direct replacement screen for this model, but there are tons of aftermarket screens that will fit. Unfortunately, after doing all the research, I found that it's actually cheaper to replace the entire unit, than just the screen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great on our deck! My wife fell in love with the larger version in your store, but it was much too large for the area we had for a firepit. I found this one online, and, with the addition of a paving stone base, it looks wonderful on our deck, and great for having some friends over for marshmallows, or a romantic evening out in the night air for my wife and I.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fire pit When I got the box it set for while due to the size and concerns regarding assembly. Well that was a waste of time, it was so easy to put together and quick. It feels very sturdy and I can't wait to have my first bonfire. I did read about getting a cover so I will do that as we get a lot of rain. I couldn't tell in the picture when I ordered, but it does having a cooking grill included.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product is attractive. The screen doesn't standup to the heat though. I bought this about 3 years ago. I leave it out year round. It rusts - primarily on the inside. I repaint it nearly every year - inside and out. The screen doesn't standup to the heat and the environment - it dessentigrated. I had to replace it this year. Other than that, i enjoy it. The manufacturer does not offer replacements for the screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I love this fire pit. Large enought for normal sized split wood and deep with underlying grate. The decorative moon/ stars actually function well for air flow. A good value and glad I made the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE this Cauldron !!!!! I was looking for a fire pit for my rental cottage----and when I saw this one---I was ECSTATIC ! I had planned a Croning celebration, and this was absolutely the BEST for the event AND the rental. I t worked fabulously---the only thing I did was drill a hole in the bottom to let water out if it rains. It looks very attractive and diferent-- all the women commented on it !! I am quite pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great heat flow and easy assembly We are enjoying this fire pit. It has a deep bowl that allows ample airflow and restricts any breeze from blowing flames. The heat emits itself evenly and you really don't need a giant stack of wood to have a good fire. The bowl is light enough to lift out of the stand to dump the ashes when they are cooled - the only drawback is that there are no handles as I saw on a friend's older model. The sturdy BBQ grill that comes with it is a nice extra to have too. I didn't think we would ever use it but the kids love grilling thier hotdogs on it. I highly recommend this deep-bowl design over those shallow bowls that seem to be popular. You get a "real" fire with this design. Great fun to have!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The Cauldron Stars and Moons Bronze Fire Pit was not the quality that I expected. I had purchased a Cauldron Stars and Moons Bronze Fire Pit several years ago from Home Depot for my primary home and was extremely pleased with it in every aspect. I was so pleased with it that I recently purchased one for use at my winter vacation home. Upon opening the recent purchase, I was very disappointed with it. The original Cauldron Stars and Moons Bronze Fire Pit had a one-piece Cauldron. the recent one is a two-piece affair that has to be assembled. The original has a sturdy cylindrical frame that holds and secures the Cauldron. the recent one has a cylindrical ring that hold the Cauldron and the consumer has to install the four supports to it. The original Cauldron is manufactured of heavier gauge steel than the recent one. The original one does not use a fire grate. I've used it numerous times and been totally pleased. The fire wood burns completely leaving an unbelievably small quantity of residual ash. I have not had to empty the ash residue before the end of each burning season. it has moisture at the very bottom so that no water accumulates. It also included a cover to use between burning episodes and end of season storage The recent one uses a very flimsy circular gate that sits approximately four inches from the bottom. with one use, the grate warped. The Cauldron doesn't provide for moisture drainage. After the first and only fire, there is more residual, unburned wood and residual ash than I have experienced during any prior season's use of the original. The "cooking grill" is a feature that I don't anticipate ever using. The current one did not include a storage cover. The recent one was packed in a very flimsy carton that was pretty much rendered unserviceable during the unpacking process. If the carton and packing materials had been of such quality that they would have remained intact, I would have seriously considered returning it. But, I chose to "suck it up" and keep it, considering this a lesson learned. The original one that I purchased, and will continue to use for several more seasons, was a great product that deserved and earned high praises. The current version is, in my opinion, a poorly designed and cheaply produced replacement.
