When I got the box it set for while due to the size and concerns regarding assembly. Well that was a waste of time, it was so easy to put together and quick. It feels very sturdy and I can't wait to have my first bonfire. I did read about getting a cover so I will do that as we get a lot of rain. I couldn't tell in the picture when I ordered, but it does having a cooking grill included.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mark Great heat flow and easy assembly
We are enjoying this fire pit. It has a deep bowl that allows ample airflow and restricts any breeze from blowing flames. The heat emits itself evenly and you really don't need a giant stack of wood to have a good fire. The bowl is light enough to lift out of the stand to dump the ashes when they are cooled - the only drawback is that there are no handles as I saw on a friend's older model. The sturdy BBQ grill that comes with it is a nice extra to have too. I didn't think we would ever use it but the kids love grilling thier hotdogs on it. I highly recommend this deep-bowl design over those shallow bowls that seem to be popular. You get a "real" fire with this design. Great fun to have!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by b2dreamer Husband happy with the gift except for
the fact that it has no drainage hole which you will need to drill yourself and it is highly recommended that you do since there is no "real" cover to keep out the rain or snow. Very lightweight and easily blows over so it needs to be turned upside down in windy weather.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gbartmi Great looking and durable firepit
This is a great fire pit, for use on or off the patio/deck. It is deep enough to burn normal-sized fireplace wood. Would have rated it a five star, but the bottom burn base rack could be stronger for longer durability and the spark arrestor top screen won't take too much heat, before it warps and rusts. It does come with an actual grill rack to cook burgers, etc.. Do two things if you buy this, 1) drill a 1/4" drain hole in the bottom, and 2) order a cover for it; both will help you gain a few more years of use. If you use it on a wooden deck, you might want to purchase a grill mat, to deflect the minimum heat at the bottom of the pit; most comes upward. We like this fire pit, works well on our bricked patio. Enjoy!

Easy to assemble, sturdy bowl, flimsy grate to stack wood on( It warped the first time I used it), Low quality screen cover (It rusted and warped the first time I used it). I've used this fire pit several times now and it seems to be performing fairly well. I don't expect the screen cover to last more than this autumn season so I'll probably have to replace it with something else but overall it works pretty good. The bowl is big enough to put a lot of wood in it so the fires last a long time.

I was looking for a fire pit for my rental cottage----and when I saw this one---I was ECSTATIC ! I had planned a Croning celebration, and this was absolutely the BEST for the event AND the rental. I t worked fabulously---the only thing I did was drill a hole in the bottom to let water out if it rains. It looks very attractive and diferent-- all the women commented on it !! I am quite pleased.
