When I look at the "wireless" survellience market, I don't often find a system with cameras that need to be hardwired for power. But that's exactly how the Guardian is designed. Sure, it doesn't need to be wired to the monitor (duh), but the large black power cables for each camera sort of ruin the look; not to mention the work involved in installing them, especially when the system is advertised as WIRELESS.
Problem 2: I finally WIRED my system, but the unidenvideo website has been "down" for two days now. So I cannot register my product, OR view my survellience remotely. I don't think I'll be a loyal customer after this experience!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by disappointed1 good product but missing SD card
Overall I am pleased with the product. I purchased my first system at Costco and later bought a "like new" system for my mother-in-law directly from Uniden (website). I also purchased two additional cameras for my system at that time. Both systems were easy to install, configure, and operate. The only issue with the product so far was that Uniden does not include the SD card if you buy a "like new" system which prevented me from installing and setting it up for my mother-in-law in one trip (she lives 2.5 hours away). So other than not getting exactly what was represented on the website, we are pleased with the features and ease of use.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Megstr14 Remote Viewing Access
In order to view any property remotely via the internet, while you're away from your property, you must download a cellphone application.
A major downfall and huge disappointment of your remote viewing capability is that your system must be "connected to the internet". BUT, while the system is connected to the internet, it DOESN'T record ANY video.
You market your product as being capable of remote viewing, however, what is the purpose of creating remote viewing access, when you can't record video??? Sort of defeats the purpose of creating remote access, when you are unable to access it while away from your home. (which is what the surveillance system was purchased for in the first place)

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by shaq ok product, lacking features
Motion detection works good. It lacks a scheduler for like weekday and weekend recording. It lacks the feature to allow you to save on external drives. Easy to setup. Menu has some useless settings such as alarm, timer, not sure what they are there for. Viewing old recording can take hours because it does not have a preview option. this product can be improved a lot. Email feature is useless, it would be nice to send a screen shot. There sensitivity option is limited, i have recording of bugs flying at night. Web feature does not work on Windows 8, firefox or chrome.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ednstl Needs to have record daily option
I've been using the G755 24 hours a day since the beginning of October 2012 using 32gb cards, I plan on trying 64gb when the price dropss a little. So far, it has worked fine, but it needs some updates. Unless I'm missing a setting somewhere, there is no way to schedule recording on a daily basis, you have to reschedule every five days, this is not convenient, and will probably keep me from purchasing another uniden system. It seems that this issue could be corrected in a firmware update. As stated in previous reviews, sound during recording is also needed, along with high resolution cameras.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Gray Reliability of wireless signal
I have owned this unit for 4 months. One camera is regularly losing signal with the base. This would not be a major problem if I could put the remote unit on my desk for all to see but I'm trying to catch a thief so only two of us know about the system. I am recording the camera remotely and do not know it has lost the signal until the scrap wire (currently $3.00 per lb.) is gone and I find out I have lost the connection again.
All together, I believe I have lost $30,000.00 to $40,000.00 in scrap sales. I was hoping this small yet seamingly nice unit would work better.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by kysg1 I never wrote a product review before but this product is great
I have had the set of two for several months and had to get an electrician to hardware the unit because there was not an A/C supply available. They have worked flawlessly.
This morning I installed a third camera in my garage. I had it up and going in 10 minutes.....amazing. I have it on my I Pad and I Phone and it works perfectly.
If you want a real live security system as a deterrent and or live capture to identfy intruders the this is a great deal.
It does have an e-mail notification but i will drive you crazy....I did have to turn that off. It is too sensitive and will send littlerly hundreds per day.
I have the 7" display which is portable but to stay internet connected it must be docked with a hardwire connection to your router.
I will buy a forth camera soon and would definitely recommend this system.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MsISeeUNow No SD Card included???
I brought a like new unit that didn't come with a sd card. Called support and was told NONE of the systems (NEW or LIKE NEW) come with the card even though the website clearly states they do. I understand they only cost a few dollars. The point is, they shouldn't state something is included and not include it. They stated they will be changing the website because it's a mistake saying it's included. REALLY??? Other than that I love the system! The improvements I'd like to see are to include a AV out for the TV monitor connection and white cameras with the main system and not just as additional cameras (Goes better with most exterior paint colors than black!) I have already recommended this system to others!!!
