Customer Reviews

Rated 1.5 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by tough to install, nice door though There is an associated video. A good idea to watch it a few times first, but it obscures a few details. Let me save you some frustration. 1) When you use the guide to drill the 5/16 holes, drill thru one side of the door and then take the drill out. Remove the guide, then complete the hole thru the other side of the door. Put the guide back in place, repeat 2x more. Why? Because if you leave the guide in place like the video shows, your drill bit will hit the back side and if you aren't perfectly square to it then the bit will cause it to shatter. 2) the video doesn't mention it, but the handle vendor sizes the push shaft for a 1" thick door. This door is not 1" thick. If you watch the video you might think you just push the shaft thru and bolt 'er up. That's what they show. Try it, hilarity ensues. The instruction sheet tells you that you need to cut the shaft first. Overall the fit and feel of this is a bit cheesy. The door comes with a few paint scrapes built in from the factory (I was careful when unpacking, they were already there). If your exterior wood door frame isn't too square then this will look a bit funny, but you're the only one who will notice. July 7, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NO, no, no, no, no DO NOT purchase this product if you expect good quality, customer assistance, proper fit or ease of use on the warranty. Bought this door for a 36 x 80 door and there was barely enough metal on the edge of the door to put the attaching screws in. It did not fit properly and is now weak on the hinge side. Also, after installing the door I proceeded to install the closer assembly....it DIDN"T work and wouldn't adjust. Went to the company web site and contact info was non existent, same with customer support. Took my issue to home depot and all they would do is provide me with contact info for company which required that I send them everything they could think of with the exception of my first born child to file a warranty claim. So, I just bought a new closer for $10 versus waiting for the mailman and hoping that the company would honor their warranty in a reasonable time frame. Why H.D. carries this product I will never know, this company has an "F" rating with the BBB and I can see why. There, you have been warned!!! October 20, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Will not fit a 32" door This product is listed for a 32" wide door. No way this product will fit a 32" door. Even with the so call channel extender, it extend up to only approx. 31" wide. This screen door is made more for a 30" to 31" door instead. August 31, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Will not fit a 32" door Listed for a 32" door. If your door is any wider than 31 5/8", this will not work. Absolute waste of time and money. Returning it today June 27, 2013
