The door is a very nice addition to our home. The quality for the price was acceptable. It had a few missing spots of paint we had to touch up, but I could not touch this nice of door anywhere else for the price point.

I ordered the product on line and it arrived sooner than expected. Upon inspection by store personnel, they noticed a chunk taken out of the metal, almost like a hole punch. I was notified and chose to take the door anyway. During the installation it was noticed that the screws to attach the metal frame to the door frame of the house were white and the hydraulic arm at the top was also white...I ordered my door in the almond color. Not thrilled with the different colors.

Don't get me wrong... this door makes a STUNNING first impression and it really compliments the style of our home. However.. there were parts damaged and parts missing from the manufacturer. I was rerouted multiple times before I got to someone that was even willing to try to find a way to resolve the problem. And THEN after I went thru the entire process I received an email from the manufacturer that the only resolution to the damaged faceplate and the missing clip to hold the outside door handle on is to return the entire door and they would replace the entire door. OH SURE... just let me UN-INSTALL this door I just spent several hours and HUNDREDS of dollars to purchase and send it right back to you!!! So... I went out and got my own piece to hold the handle on the door and my brand new door has a sizeable scratch on the front plate. Lucky me.

Installed the door over Labor Day weekend, 2014. It is now not quite Memorial Day, 2015. One weld on a vertical bar to the curved base bar has begun to rust. Nine months of age. I'll have to pull the window off the door and fix it before it becomes too much more unsightly.
The windows cannot be cleaned in place - the bars preclude getting the outside done well. My wife hates it. I have to pull out the screws and pull the window frame off the door for her to clean the panes properly. Since that is not a job that she wants me to do every month - and I don't either - the windows aren't clean and she doesn't like to see the spots and smears. The door is not designed to be taken apart on a regular basis - the screw holes will wear and eventually not seat.
Should have looked longer to find a better product.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Pocerif Dont buy - Horrible quality. Tried twice.
I purchased the first door and it was warped at the bottom. I discovered this after installation. In addition, it was an almond colored door, but came with white screws? I called the manufacturer and they admitted it only came with white screws. I returned that door and got a replacement from the same company. When I opened it out of the box, the glass insert frame was clearly warped on one side(Obviously a manufacturers defect). Back to the store again with the second door. Hopefully home depot will stop selling this junk. The only good thing is that home depot has a decent return policy.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by UnhappyBuyer Bad - Avoid This Door and Company
We purchased online and had the door shipped to our local Home Depot store. It arrived promptly, but upon getting it home and attempting to install we found that the lockset contained broken AND missing parts.
HD attempted to contact the Waterford company to obtain a new lockset. It was supposedly shipped, but with no tracking number and was to be delivered to the HD store. The next day we tried to get a tracking number - the company (Waterford) then said the lockset was shipped to our home address three days ago. Funny since we only made the request 1 day ago.
After 6 days of no new lockset we got HD management involved. They were forced to order a brand new lockset and write off the replacement.
DO NOT BUY an online product from this company. They are terrible. Home Depot Pleasanton, CA wasn't super great either - promising to call back and failing to do so on 3 separate occasions.

This security door exactly fit my needs. I wanted a solid security door but I didn't want to swap out screens for glass. The built in glass panel slides up and down with ease. It has a built in mechanism that assists in moving the heavy pane. The door and lock set have a nice finish. The door once installed provides excellent insulation quality, no drafts. My only caviot is to read the instructions and understand which way you want to open the door to open before cutting the frame. The instructions SAY left hinge /right open..but mine was the opposite out of the box. Flipping the hinge sides is pretty slick, although a bit involved. Use care when re-installing the aluminum mortise screws as the head strips easily and you will not find them at hardware store.
