Customer Reviews

36 in. x 42 in. Su Casa Black 7-Bar Window Guard is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reasonable option These look fine and were easy enough to install. For my application, I cut one of the guards to allow it to fit within my window frame and rewelded the removed vertical bar so that the bar spacing in the middle looked symmetrical. If you can weld, welding the mounting hardware to the guards and the two guards (if you use two) together will make your final product far less wobbly than if you install them as designed. Pros: Easy to find Easy to install (as designed - see below) Reasonable price for security bars Look nice Likely deter most criminals Black ones were easy to repaint. Cons: Thin metal tubing won't stop someone who really wants to bypass these If you place two of these side by side without welding, they will feel loose, and may come apart when enough force is applied - depending on your setup. The top and bottom arrow tips had razor sharp burs which need to be sanded down if you use these bars inside. Installation requires hardware not included. If you use two window guards side by side, I would recommend running a full length solid metal square rod in each of the two horizontal bars to hold the two guards together. This would make it much harder to cut and prevent you from pushing/pulling them apart. They will also feel much sturdier.
