I have a double set of french doors that open inward - so this would be ideal - is there a way or hardware that allows these to be used together (set)

Thank you for your interest in our Durango hinged screen door. We do not offer any type of hardware to use in this way. We would suggest speaking with your local Home Depot Associate to see if they can suggest anything. I hope this information is helpful.

Is it okay to cut 3/16" from both top and bottom of door? 80" is a bit too high for our opening.

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in our Durango Hinged Screen Door.  The door may need to be trimmed to fit; we recommend NOT trimming any one side, top, or bottom more than 3/8”. Please see installation video under the “Info & Guides” section of the product page for more information on trimming and installation. I hope this information is helpful for you.

Customer Reviews

Rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Too much extra work. First off door does not come with a handle nor hinges. For extra support i had to put extra wood glue on all the wooden dowel bracing. Probably won't last long. 1 cross section of the 1x1 part was not glued at all compared to the other 3 spots. Take extra time before purchasing to see if the 1x1 pieces is not bowed in a certain direction. The long 2 pieces of mine are bowed but was too late to take back. A lot of extra trimming to just make it fit. The only good part about this door is the screen material is on a frame. Easy remove and install. I don't see this door lasting a long time. I will make sure that i will be using the warranty if it does fall apart. June 6, 2015
