Horrible! I tried three different doors (same model), and there were problems with each. All three times there were screws missing, did not fit right, and two times the non-replacable built-in screws that are a part of the hinges/rails were bent, so they had to have been dropped in transit. I still tried installing the door, but of course it would not work right as they would not screw in properly. They also all had scratches on them. I have never been so disgusted with Home Depot for carrying this item. I wish I had looked at the item on the website first to see that these problems are all too common. How does Home Depot still justify carrying this item when everyone says how horrible it is? I have always gone to Home Depot for all of my projects, but I'm now off to Lowe's or Ace Hardware!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Moretools Sorry I bought this door.
The second bolt for the door handle wouldn't thread in all the way and it sheared off when I tried to. No hardware store in the SF Balley had that bolt. Fortunaely, I found one in my garage and cut it down.
To make the door fit vertically the end channel didn't seem to have enough to make it solid so I have a gap on the bottom and need to buy a second one but the manufacturer ignored my request to buy one. Home Depot doesn't sell them. So I will need to find another mfg that will respond or have a local shop make one for me.
The door closer doesn't seem to have sufficient adjustment. With a half-turn it goes from slamming the door to not closing it hard enough to make it lock.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nelleski Not so simple
Three trips to Home Depot and $200 later for a handyman I knew after watching the video it would be an impossible project for me. Once it was installed we found that the Door Closer had no air in it so the door slammed. Bought a new one that didn't fit in the allocated space. I'm delighted to have the door installed but at a total $300 including $100 purchase? Not worth it!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Crewcabz A basic screen door, screwed up!
This adjustable door takes a basic screen door and makes it a ridiculous amount of effort in futility. I'm just your basic DIY home owner, with 30 years of experience making things work... and I am disgusted that this product requiring 10 screws and 2 cuts took me 3 hours, and the best final result I could get was an inconsistent flimsy product that I have no faith in. DO NOT BUY THIS FOR YOURSELF .(maybe for your brother-in-law though).

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by gjones Very hard to install
Took me 4 hours to install this thing due to failure of the adjustable width "feature."
The screws on the adjuster froze; best to simply remove the nuts from the adjuster.
The handle was very difficult to install which turned out to be because the machine screws screw into the handle but the handles has no machine screw threads so you have to "create" your own before installation by forcing the machine screws into the handle which could be very difficult for many without the patience or hand strength.
As someone else mentioned, if you aren't reasonably handy, (in my case I had to use a wedge to cut out part of the jam), forget this door.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Norm Poor design, not recommended
I installed this door for a neighbor and it took nearly two days screwing around with the door to make it work. It was too narrow for a 36" wide opening although that is what it was designed for. Had to use a wood filler on the hinge side and mortise the hinges. Instructions were extremely poor. Threaded adjustment screws were fine thread and cross threaded when trying to make the width adjustment. All in all, this is not a door for a DYI installation. I am a general contractor and not a novice. The design may look good on paper but in actuality, the engineering design couldn't have been fully tested. Do not recommend the door at all.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Papa74 Too many issues
For the 32 inch:
Pros: The web video was excellent.
Cons: Had about 6 screws missing (scrounged replacements from my stores), latch was frozen (needed to dunk it in graphite to get it to work), took about 5 hours to install (I'm pretty adept with tools), screen was not properly installed in the frame.
Not worth the money.
Recommend you do not buy unless you're handy with tools.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Ed never another
This one is the fourth I have purchased for my properties but the first in white. It came with all black hardware and accessories. Had to install for the safety of the tenants toddler. In a word "ugly". Contacted the manufacturer for a replacement kit but was told "all white doors come with all black hardware". Unbelievable. These are standard off-the-shelf items available in all standard colors. I had to buy my own. The door is not that easy to install because the measuring/cutting instructions are prone to error. door will not extend to its advertised range and becomes flimsy near that range. In summary, never another.
