Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unable to install Recessed Mount door. Purchased Recessed Mount Standard size door to be installed inside the brick wall opening. The predrilled installation holes in the frame are positioned half inch inside the trim from the face of the wall. Why so shallow? (see attached image) When I tried to drill anchor holes inside the brick using hammer drill - brick just broke. Frame goes only maximum 3/4 of the inch inside the opening. How is security door installed either in the wood or brick trim is going to hold with so little material between front face of the wall and screw? I guess in the installation video the installer drilled holes into the wood wall opening not straight but with the angle pointing inside. If that so, how about anchoring the brick wall? Will be returning door back to store. May 31, 2015
