Brand new it had a couple quirks, the top adjustment block was wobbly, so it often stuck out at an angle. The corner sticking out would get stuck on the glass door frame, when sliding out, so the screen would not open unless you knew to pull that corner door away from the glass door. The plastic rollers got noticeably rougher after just 1 week. The door got rougher and rougher over time to slide. Yesterday the whole screen door just fell off, and got bent when hitting the concrete. Ended up non-usable garbage. Not recommended.

The adjustment range is fantastic. Again I was impressed. But all of that was irrelevant because the handle edge of the door was bowed inward. When the unit was installed there was enough of a gap for any mosquito to fly or small lizard to crawl through right where the handle met the door frame. I will likely be returning the door. I don't know if this is a quality control issue or if I just had the odd defect. Do no buy this door without measuring the top, bottom, and middle to ensure the unit isn't warped. I was in a rush and had the computer order stock guys prep the order for me. Normally I am more careful. This time it bit me. Egg on my face and an unhappy client.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from CAUTION!!!! If we could give this NO stars, we would. If you have less than about 80" in height, do NOT waste your time and money. We carefully measured our sliding glass door, and then excitedly went to purchase this product for our newly built home, just to be to royally disappointed in the end. In fact, after 2.5 hours of really trying to make this door work, we returned it to the store...it just did NOT fit, even though it said it should have, and followed all the directions to adjust it. We thought going with the "Ultimate" door would be great upgrade from the cheaper door...NOPE. Wish we would have read these other reviews before we wasted our afternoon on this.

The reviews are right! The door is not well designed. The plastic wheel looks cheap. It is not well assembled (Well, it is still bad if it were assembled properly.) The worst thing is -- it doesn't fit my frame! The extension to make it 80' long make it just a little bit too wide to fit. I can put it in but cannot slide since it is too tight. Don't buy it, my friend. I am serious.

Be prepared to make the necessary repairs prior to installation. Fit is OK once repairs are made, installation time about an hour not including repairs. It's easier to repair time wise then wasting the time to return the Screen Door To the store and starting over. A cheaper door may be the best buy!

Only make it to 79" fully extended on each end. The adjustable slotted pieces at each end don't extend the width of the door despite the picture in the instructions showing it does. This will leave gaps. So, if you're fond of flies and mosquitoes in your house this door is for you. Very, very cheap waste of money with sharp edges. When I returned to the store, the HD rep acted wasn't even surprised...another customer was right behind me returning the same door. Home Depot still proudly sells this piece of junk.

On one door is the standard replacement screen. I recently purchased the ULTIMATE screen door. The door was easy to install (I am NOT handy in the least) the directions were clear and simple to follow. My single regret is that I did not purchase the ULTIMATE screen door for the first sliding patio door. The standard door I purchased in January and the ultimate door in May, I bet by the Fall I will replace the standard screen door with another ultimate door.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ultimate Junk Apparently, the word ultimate means something else than what I imagined. This product is made of the cheapest nylon parts that I have ever seen. The whole adjustment mechanism is just wrong. The wheels are in the middle of the door and even the slightest mis-adjustment causes the front or back of the door to drag on the track. The trucks are really cheap junk and may last a couple of months if you don't use the door much. I rarely ever review products, but I felt the need to warn people off of this one because I have rarely encountered something so badly made that was advertised at the "premium " price
