You need to have a handy-man skill on this one.
The video instruction was good, but it did not go into the details of installation. The paper instruction manual was useless. It too, did not go into the details. It did not tell you which screws to use. I relied solely on the video instruction.
If you have some skill of a handy-man, installation should be easy. The one little part that I had the hardest time with is the door handle. While tightening the screw to the door handle, I slipped a bit and pushed my screw driver when through the door mesh, causing a hole. I sowed it back using a needle and thread. While installing, the door handle dropped and the compression spring flew off somewhere. If you run this situation like me, you can replace it with another compression spring. This situation could have been prevented by placing towel on the floor while installing the door handle. For me, bought a hook-and-eye to secure the door.
I had to build a door frame around the screen door, stretching my installation time to 5 hours.
For the price and quality, it deserves a 4 out of 5. And that's right on the money.
It felt good at the end of the day!

Bought this item in white to match front door, Imagine my surprise on opening hardware box to find that all the screws were brown, now I know the door handle etc are brown, but in the video the screws for the hinges and hinge expander are white. Called the rep on doors and windows to check another door in stock, after 10 minutes he came back with the answer that they were all brown as well and that they only make the screws in brown. The following day called the Manager at Home depot explained the problem, you could try painting the screws with white nail polish, yeah right, she did offer to supply some hexagon screws, on hinges? I don't think so. Today I called the company that supply the doors after again explaining the problem she didn't really know what to suggest, apart from just painting them with paint. I asked why does the video they have on their site show the guy using white screws, answer, that was just for the video they must have painted them for filming and that she hadn't seen the companies video, now thats a loyal worker, you couldn't make this up thats for sure. In the end I said I would be taking the door back and would buy a different make from Home Depots rivaI I was then put on hold, and ten minutes later was told that they would send me the white screws. To be continued, I hope.
