I looked far and wide for this universal kit repair kit to fix my faucet leak after using the faucel for 30 years. It happened to fit my old faucet to a T. Just don't screw the faucet nut (not included) on too tightly, because it will rub adversely on the valve open and close actions.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gongo Finally got the right one (seats)
About a month ago, I purchased the universal faucet repair kit as water was dripping from the base, aerator and the handle areas. It fixed the problem except after about a week, the water start dripping from the aerator again. I bought the non Delta seats and replaced but water kept dripping. Finally bought this Delta Model # RP4993 and took care of the aerator drip problem. I magnified this Delta RP4993 and the other seats to compare and found out that the seat area that contacts the ball assembly is shaped differently - the RP4993 is much flatter and the non Delta seat has a rounded surface. Needless to say, the RP4993's flatter surface has more contact area preventing water escaping causing the aerator drip.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by need2know 5 minutes, $5 to fix a leaky faucet
After watching my bathroom faucet drip for a couple of weeks I decided to see how difficult it would be to fix. I am reasonably handy but have little plumbing experience. Delta has a 5 minute instructional video online that uses a single lever faucet but double handle faucets are quite similar. After reading reviews of the Danco brand I decided to spend the extra $3 and get the Delta kit. Worked exactly like the video and was done in 5 minutes. No more leak. Took one point off of value because they are more than twice the competitor and I cannot say firsthand they work any better. I can say they worked as advertised and are much cheaper than calling a plumber.
