Answer:
no, there is a built in drain connector, rubber stopper and hex nut to attach the tailpiece included, but you must provide the tailpiece and all other needed items to connect to your drain system.

Answer:
Comes with a tailpiece, but no p-trap. I would suggest a good-quality p-trap with a clean-out at the bottom, in case you drop something down the drain...which I did!

It has a 1 1/2" threaded down spout in the center of the tub, and a drain stopper, but that is all.

Yes, you can absolutely do this. The lip of the sink sticks out from the sides, so as long as you don't mind the sink sitting above the cabinet's top, you can do this easily. I actually had to do something similar because the plumber who plumbed my house during construction put the drain pipe too high for this sink to sit on its normal legs. Answer:
That is an interesting idea. That is not the intended use but I think it could be done. The sink does not have straight sides, which will add some complexity. But if the cabinet person has the skill I would think it could be done nicely. I am a pretty good plumber and know I could not do it but I am sure there are those who could.

The sink comes without the faucet holes punched out. So you certainly could use this faucet. But if i were going to go through the trouble of upgrading my sink I would also up grade my faucet. You see these clamp style faucets go back 100 years to the days of soap stone sinks. Where you would clamp them on the rim. If I were going to use this sink and potentially put my dog or other large things in it, I would bring the pipes around the side and up underneath. Then I would use a good quality laundry tray faucet like a Gerber. One that would accommodate an aerator or a garden hose. I would want to be able to attach the short garden hose to act as a spray, Again what I like and is just my opinion of how I set them up. So please take it with a grain of salt. Read Less

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product. Not as deep as I expected but deep enough. You have to drill your own holes for the faucet Great product either way. August 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Utilatub, 40 in X 24 in This sink will work fine for what I have yo do, except I am a little concerned about the legs, don't seem strong enough for when the sink is full. Other than that it is a nice product. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it!! Big enough to bathe a toddler. This plastic repels dirt and rinses nicely. Might buy a second one for the garage. April 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good buy on big tub The tub is sturdy and well made with only one comment - it could have a better defined slope to the drain to ease cleaning. Other than that ii is better and stronger than I expected. March 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just What We Needed Our concrete double sink was limping along for two years since we purchased the home. When it started leaking because of a crack, it was time to say goodbye. Did not get the Big Tub with the faucet included because so many people said the faucet was junk so we listened. We got a beautiful bar type of faucet from American Standard and it looks just amazing. I cannot really comment on the ease of installation because we paid plumbers to put it in. Did not hear any bad language and it took about one hour which translated into $295.00 for labor and parts. The tub and faucet cost less than that.... All in all, it was a necessary replacement. Now the faucet does not feel like it will come off in my hand.. the old one was hurting. The only downside is that water collects in the corners. Just ordered a small squeegee to take care of that. Our washing machine drains into the tub, we got a large clamp to hold it to the side. Our hose is too short to reach existing waste drain so the tub sink works great. October 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not bad; could be better; only choice out there if you want a big tub. Very flimsy legs. I bolted mine to the floor and attached it to the wall, otherwise it would be very wobbly. Legs need to be sturdier. Opted for the package without the faucet because reviews said the faucet was super cheap and I'm sure it was. Wish the plastic tub was made of heavier material. It is what it is and there are no other comparable tubs out there if you want a large one with no divider in the middle. Get a screen for the drain or you may lose small things down it. I installed a faucet with a shower head, which is handy for rinsing out the corners of the tub. Installation was straightforward. So far, after a couple weeks, I have no complaints. December 24, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nice and big I bought this sink to use a a general utility sink in the garage as well as a winter dog washing station. The size and utility of this sinks great. Also assembly is easy. As others have mentioned, the legs are a little flimsy, but they seem to support the tub fine. I left off the cheesy adjusting feet and added wooden blocks in their place to raise the tub about 3 inches to a more convenient height. That seems to work well and gives a place to add some diagonal braces if the legs turn out to be too flexible - but I doubt that will be an issue. February 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for my needs The Bigtub Utilatub was exactly what I wanted. I am using it for a washout booth for my screen printing business. It is super deep and plenty wide to support all my different sized screens. The install was probably the easiest I've ever done. Plug this leg in, that leg in, screw this onto the legs, done! Couldn't have been more pleased with my purchase. April 28, 2015
