Where can we find the valve for this product?

Asked by: Steeve
The shower panel does not include a mixing valve. It is designed to be paired with a valve of your choice or your existing valve currently installed into your bathroom.

Customer Reviews

38.6 in. Retrofit 3-Jet Shower Panel System in Stainless Steel is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elegant panel with high efficiency The unit shipped in elegant packaging with everything scratch free and no parts missing. Following the manual and the video available at Home Depot web site, installation was no trouble. A friend of mine helped me in the process who knows few things about pluming. Overall, installation is easy but removing/installing the shower arm can get troublesome. Talking about appearance, it looks very high-end and certainly adds an elegant touch to our master bathroom. Initially I was disappointed to find out that either overhead or the side jets can be engaged. A true spa experience would’ve been if I could utilize them together with decent pressure. On the contrary, it consumes less than 2 gallons per minute that makes it a high efficiency shower head. So, overhead and side jets cannot produce a decent pressure together at such low water consumption. We mostly use the overhead which delivers much better shower experience than what we had before. We love it and truly enjoy the shower time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful design Gorgeous panel. Very sleek, very modern. There were some strange design decisions made by the manufacturer when it came to the details however. The escutcheon that came with the panel is cheap and ugly. It was made of grey plastic, which was just a weird choice. This was very easily solved though. We bought a stainless steel escutcheon from home depot, and it worked beautifully. The installation was not that easy. First, this is definitely a retrofit. In other words, it is designed to enable you to swap out your current shower head, for this panel. no other modifications are really necessary, but that also means that there are not many directions and videos available on line. The directions that come with the panel are all that you get, so best of luck. It took us awhile to get everything perfectly situated to make certain there were no leaks, but once we got there.... it looks and works fantastically! Very nice pressure, and simple mechanism to switch between the shower head, the body sprays and the hand shower. It really looks gorgeous in our bathroom and makes showering very fun. My only other real complaint is that I wish that Valore offered shower trims to match the panel! I bought a stainless steel one from Delta, that looks very nice, but coordinating pieces would have been awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Update to "Cheaper than Costco" I've installed this shower panel now and I'm delighted with its performance. Install was fairly easy. I measured and leveled correctly and it looks great. I also removed the flow restrictor (in hose near "Y" connection inside) and I get a very strong flow from all 3 spray segments. I can "toggle" the selector switch and get two sprays to work at same time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Easy to install If you have all the right too then I guess you would be able to install it in 30 minutes. I'm a DIY kind of guy but not that experienced. However, I found this was pretty easy to install in our guest bathroom. So far people have complemented on how beautiful it is. They say it looks like a spa or luxury hotel shower. The nobs and head seems good quality. The stainless steel looks great in the bathroom.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice shower panel Everyone who sees this is impressed. Even plumbers that worked in the bath remodel job had never seen one. We haven't used it that much so far, but when we did it was great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No valve included I have two complaints about this shower panel. 1. It is not for a bathroom that has low ceilings because it is huge and it is very long. 2. This is just a panel and does not bring a valve. I am doing a remodel in my walk-in shower and thought that this was a complete kit but it is not. So I figured I keep the panel since it is nice looking. So I got to Home depot but when I wanted to purchase only the valve (the one that indicates the water temp), I either had to get the plastic cheap ones or get an entire kit for the same price. So I returned the panel and purchased elsewhere since most styles that I liked in HD online only had the showerhead and no valve and at the store the styles are limited. Overall, it is a very nice panel but not functional if you are doing a complete remodel and replacing the bathroom shower and valve, you must either purchase a new valve which costs about the same as the entire panel or use the one you already have. Also, it is not recommended for a shower with low ceilings since it makes the shower appear smaller and it becomes the center piece of the shower which is not the look I was going for. FYI: My plumber said it looks simple to install but I told him don't even install it since I was returning it. I should have read the specifications but just relied on reviews and pictures. smh
