The velcro works great but the adhesive will not last at all. The velcro is stronger then the adhesive and will just pull right off whatever you stick it on.

For what I needed, this worked like a charm. Did a draped fabric curtain wall in a music studio to cover some acoustic treatments - pins, even upholstery pins, wouldn't stay in. I stuck this velcro to the fabric acoustic panels and then to the curtains I was hanging on them and they haven't budged since. it's heavy duty and so easy to use! No complaints. Oh and a little goes a long way because it's strong and comes in long strips. Great value.

I bought this to help me organize all of the horses' sport boots at the barn. Works great! No carpentry skills required. All of the sport boots are neatly organized off the floor. Awesome!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DaveinMI Stick and Strong !
Used this on bare plywood and 2 x 4's for a couple different projects and was very impressed with how well it stuck. The glue gets stronger over the next 2 or 3 days after first applied. Very impressed, will buy it again !

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by tanasit Strong bond to most surface
You need to prepare the surface well which means it has to be clean, smooth and most important of all DRY. The holding power is amazing and it is easy to use. It is tricky to put on the dry wall, porous surface or uneven surface. It does require time to cure, so if you put it to use right away with constant force pulling it apart, it may fail. Let the 2 objects that you want to put together has the Velcro on and separate them overnight before you put them together.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by T00bie the glue is JUNK
The velcro is excellent, but the glue is horrible! I can't imagine why they'd manufacture industrial strength velcro on a roll that uses glue no stronger than the stuff my kids use at school.

I bought this to use to help insulate the piping on an outside hot tub installation. Along with Reflectix insulation (see my review 'A versitile product' under Reflectix 16"x25' roll) I wanted to to make short sections of insulation to place around the flexible pvc piping of my hot tub. Well, the day that the insulation and velcro arrived it was zero degrees outside and the velcro adhesive would not work at that temperature. Instead, I used duct tape to secure the Reflectix. At some point I plan replace the duct tape with the velcro.
In the meantime, when the outside temperatures warmed up to thirty degrees I did use the velcro to mount some of the hot tub controls to a vertical panel. This worked great and saved me from having to install a disconnect to the control wiring, which I did not want to do.
In addition, my husband used some of the velcro to mount a laser pointer to his telescope. He was pleased with how once the velcro adhesive cured that it does move or come off. Although, this characteristic could be a disadvantage and something to consider when using this product as it appears to be a permanent installation.
A great product for mounting difficult objects to difficult surfaces. But keep in mind that the adhesive of the velcro appears to be permanent once cured.
