Can I stick these on my dashboard in my car?

Answer:
Yes but you need to give the product time to adhere to the surface. Please clean the surface, then adhere the tape and give it a few hours to adhere before adding the item you are trying to hold. We also have a Sticky Back for Vinyl product that works well on dashboards.

What is the maximum temperature rating?
Not listed in specifications. Need to use on an aluminum surface that is exposed to temps up to 190F.

I had 2 under cabinet lights to install and the mounting accessories that came with them didn't work. I decided to try velcro so bought this industrial strength, to help ensure it wouldn't pull free. So far, so good. The lights have been mounted for a couple of weeks or so and no sign of the velcro adhesive trying to release. I didn't need to use much of it, so have plenty left for other (small) projects.

This Velcro tapes replaces the cheap Velcro that came with the LED lights I purchased for my son’s Toy car. The quality of tapes is excellent and hold up pretty good in hot or wet conditions. Since it’s not recommended for fabrics, dashboards, flexible vinyl or under water use, so I am not so sure about industrial strength. Constant exposure to sun light will also damage the tape.

I wanted to place a couple of potted plants on my balcony railing, but living in eastern Oregon we get high winds and I was afraid they would get knocked over. My husband suggested I try out these strips to secure them. Last night we had a High Wind Warning of 45 MPH. I checked this morning and the strips worked great!! My plants didn't move at all. Definitely served their purpose. Just FYI the balcony rail is wooden and the pots are ceramic so they do adhere well to various surfaces.

Velcro is as-described. Industrial to say the least. Good value for the quality. I used it to hold a heavy battery pack to a vertical surface and had no issues at all.
However it is best for solid surfaces (plastic, etc). Not good for sticking to fabric. It says this on the box.
