Answer:
The flexible sun tunnel will work in this application. We do offer a universal, electric light kit, but the length of your installation will not allow a light kit. There has to be at least 18 inches of tunnel for the light kit to be installed.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great light, inside cover slips My solar tube was installed quickly and provides light in a dark corner of my kitchen. Only problem is the ring at the ceiling keeps trying to fall off and I have to push it back up. August 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SUN TUNNEL Sun Tunnel was easy to install. We had to remove a swamp cooler and put this in its place. Love the light, it has opened up my front room. Directions were easy to read. August 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works as advertised Bought two of these and the difference in how bright the rooms are is amazing. Easy to work with, now just need to see how they hold up over the years and through hail storms. June 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value Thrilled with our new sun tunnels. Install is not for the novice and had one of my key handymen held me out. The biggest trick is the opening in the ceiling and the putting back the shingles. The light we now get in our kitchen is awesome and we are ordering more. FYI a builder told me he charged $1,800 per tunnel and he is putting in the exact one. My cost for the handyman was $200 to help with 2 in Atlanta so it worked out to be under $400 each!!!! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Why are these so expensive? This kit is a few pieces of plastic and metal joined by extra large dryer exhaust hose. I'd expect this thing to cost $50. Why is it over $250? July 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by tunnel tubular It give me a new lite during day time. I order on line and pick up at store. it work out very good. November 24, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Makes a real difference. The sun tunnel was installed in my kitchen and it makes a real difference in bringing light into the work space. I'm glad I went with the larger size tube. Our only problem was that this kit was for a roof with shingles and I have a metal roof. Things needed to be adapted. September 7, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by So far works great Easy to install but some of the worst directions i ever saw. A better parts detail would have been helpful. Surprising how must light it brings in. June 26, 2011
