What is the maximum angle when the electric skylight opens? Can I be used as a temporary in and out?

What is the maximum angle when the electric skylight opens? Can I be used as a temporary in and out?
Asked by: Zhao
This skylight opens out to approximately 8 to 10 inches. This unit does not function as an enter/exit option. Technically, you can remove the chain from the frame and open it to about 45 degrees, but if you are looking for an emergency escape route, this does not provide quick and easy access to the outdoors. We do offer a GPU Egress Roof Window, however, the minimum pitch requirement for it is 3/12 (15 degrees). I hope this is helpful to you. Thank you for choosing VELUX!
