Product Overview

The VELUX No Leak Fixed Deck-Mounted skylight is ideal for illuminating interior or dark areas in your home. Our D06 and D26 models are sized to fit between roof trusses. The FS 2005DS12 series comes with factory-installed stylish metallic solar blackout blinds that are powered by solar energy, allowing you to control the light in a room using only the power of the sun. When paired with VELUX flashing, this skylight features 3 layers of water protection and comes with a 10-year No Leak installation warranty. This skylight features a pre-finished wood frame with protective aluminum cladding and a streamlined design that won't obstruct your roofline.

  • Glare control - blackout blinds block direct sunlight to significantly reduce or eliminate glare on your tv or computer screen, which increases the versatility of the room, plus an energy efficient aluminum coating on the exterior side acts as a heat barrier, increasing energy efficiency up to 20% and reducing your heating and cooling costs due to the better natural climate control in your room
  • EDL/EDW/EDM flashing sold separately and is required for warranty
  • Factory pre-finished white frames provide for a high-quality finish eliminating the need for secondary high-cost trips by a painter
  • Our solar powered blinds are operated by a KLI keypad (included) and require no wiring and no electrician
  • Energy-efficient, LowE3, argon-filled dual-glass panes help save energy costs
  • The FS skylight meets Energy Star approval guidelines for energy efficiency in all climatic regions of the US
  • 10-year no leak installation warranty plus 20 years on glass, 10 years on product, and 5 years on blinds and controls
  • Integrated gaskets drain condensation to the outside
  • Can be mounted on roofs with a minimum pitch of 14 degrees and a maximum pitch of 85 degrees
  • Installation hardware included
  • Tempered Low-E3 glass (2005) - tempered safety glass
  • Nature metallic gray solar powered blackout blinds (DS12) are factory-installed

If you have a flat roof, then you would want to choose one of the curb-mounted products - FCM, VCM or VCE. We offer the fixed unit as narrow as 14 1/2" for the rough opening, and the venting models have a 22 1/2" rough opening.
