Customer Reviews

2222 Accessory Tray for Installation of Blinds in FCM 2222 Skylights is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great. It looks just like the picture, except that it is square instead of a rectangle. My husband thought that it was thought out well. The screws to assemble it were off center, so that when you screwed into the pre-drilled holes, it tightened it together very well. It was easy to assemble, too. The only downside was that my husband had to get onto the roof, unscrew the skylight, stick the spongy tape, put the accessory tray (with the blind installed) into the skylight opening, replace the skylight, and re-screw the skylight screws on the roof. It took about 10 minutes to install, but you do have to get on top of the roof. It does leave a gap for drywall. If you don't have drywall, it would leave a half inch gap all around. I marked down for value because, because $130 for the tray, plus $160 for the blind, plus tax, put one skylight blind treatment over $300 to buy. The skylight itself cost less than the tray and blinds. We bought it because we wanted to match our other two Velux skylight blind treatments.
