do i put the whole can in my chain saw tank?

I don't know if I fill entire chainsaw fuel lank with this.
Asked by: harleyguty
If you are looking to use the fuel to store for the winter then just put a small amount in the tank, don't fill it up. This can be used for year round operation, but might get a little pricey. It is your decision.

Customer Reviews

VP Small Engine Fuel 50:1 Pre-mixed 94 Octane Ethanol Free (8-Pack) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great Great stuff for your chainsaw, or anything that has a 2 cycle engine. I don't understand the review where the guy said this fine product seized his engine. VP has decades of experience making race fuels. I imagine the culprit was something other than the fuel, if that really happened...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does NOT ruin ice augers or chainsaws This is the best product money can buy. It ruined your ice auger?? Ya right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes your 2 stroke run great I use this in my chain saws and just started to use in in my snow blower. It is a little more costly then gas, but my 20 year old snow blower has never worked better. For $5.00 I can clean my 6 car drive about three times. 3-4 inch snow fall. This product also lasts on the shelf for about 9 months without it breaking down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very good quality fuel VP is the best, my weedeater starts the first pull every time with this fuel. uses alot less than reg 91 octane so its worth the $ and no worries about storing with this fuel in it either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from reliability I use the 50:1 vp fuel in my new echo trimmer. I've had nothing but excellent results...burns clean, no carbon, no carb issues. If you think it's a bit expensive, it pays for itself not having to send your equipment to a shop for carb rebuilds and cleaning...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ruins pistons the first time i used this in my ice auger it seized my engine within 10 minutes of using it. I talked to a guy fishing next to me and he ruined his chainsaw using this stuff. He thought it was a fluke and used it his his ice auger. It seized up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fuel for 2-Stroke Engines I won't run anything else in my string trimmer, leaf blower, etc. No alcohol means better longevity, fast starts, and overall a better running engine. And it's pre-mixed so it's a total no muss, no fuss fuel for 2-stroke engines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best for snow blower and out of season much more stable than mixing your own, left in snow blower and started on the first pull after priming , first time ever
