Thought this was a gimmick but was quoted 300.00 to snake main drain to street in my house. It took 3 tries and I used all of the cartridges but I cleared the clog in my main clean out and saved myself tons of money. This thing is great

Worked well. I had a clog back in February of 2016, and used the Kleer Drain product to handle it. Then in April of 2016 my shower/bathtub got clogged again. I used the Kleer Drain to seek to remove the clog and was disappointed that after using all four replacement cartridges I didn't hear and see the water draining quickly from the tub as I had before. I did notice between cartridges that the water was draining faster than it had before though. Anyway, after using the last cartridge I thought to myself that this time I encountered failure and/or partial success.
Later on when I took a shower I realized that the drain was fast enough now so that there was zero accumulation of water. So I was pretty glad about that, and chalked it up as basically a success. I never take baths and even if I did the water would drain fast enough that it could work.
I don't think it is as cleared as it was back in February of 2016 but it's fine as it is.
My shower head says Niagara Conservation 20 GPM maximum, and so the thought occurred to me that if one gets an accumulation of water because of a slow drain, one way to handle it might be to go with a shower head with a lower GPM. And so this could save water and electricity as long as the showers are about the same length of time with the lower pressure.
At my parents' house there was a clog as well, and I could see that the accumulation of water was much quicker than in my apartment, so that would mean that the GPM for that head is more than 20.
Anyway, great product, worked even when I thought it hadn't! :-)
Just bought another set of replacement cartridges, but maybe next time, I can just test it with the shower and see if there is any accumulation of water, so that I'm not wasting cartridges.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Drade solid and does the job for a premium $$
Really effective and I wouldnt mind the cost per cartridge if I wasnt familiar with co2 cartridges. Now in a pinch totally worth the premium but these are 8gram cartridges that you can purchase in larger packs for better pricing elsewhere, around one third the price of these, average!!! And they serve mutiple purposes if you go that route....

These are used with the kleer drain system and works great. The casings and actually heavy duty, and they really give off some blast to take care of thise nasty clogs. I am actually looking forward to another slow draining sink just so I can use these again. 100% recommend to clear thise clogs.

Having inherited an older home, my life was (and on too many occasions) regularly plagued with slow running sinks etc. I thought the endless need of chemical drain cleaners was just life. I saw the Kleer Drain set at HD. I was hesitant because of worry that the pipes in the house wouldn't withstand the force of the CO2 blast, but I bought it. It did NO damage to my pipes! The waste H2O cleared instantly!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tom It really works!
I am 3 for 3 clearing the plug up. Expect to wash your toilet rug, or put a towel around it. I used a normal plunger till I was blue, then remembered "THE BLAST" and I had one shot left. Yep, it worked like a charm.
I am ordering some new co2 cartridges as I type this. It's a blast to use.LOL
