Rated 5 out of 5Â by ZacAttack A nice Vac with cool features
After I had researched which shop vac met most of my needs, I chose the VacMaster VWM510. The most interesting feature is the remote control ON/OFF switch located on the hose handle. If I am cleaning up a mess on the other side of the garage and my phone rings, I need not walk all the way back to the Vac and turn it off. I just power it off where I stand! Speaking of usage on the other side of the garage, between the power cord (20 Ft.), flex hose No. 1 (10 Ft.), and stiffer hose No. 2 (11 Ft.), I have the availability to clean a mess roughly 42 Ft. away! Another feature I needed was that it stores off of the floor - I didn't need any more floor space taken away from me. Though it doesn't have castors, it moves easily by pulling on the hose!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by YoBerger Vacmaster wall mount sold me
I watched the video on this product and was sold on two features. 1) the wall mount keeps it out of the way and doesn't take up valuable floor space in my garage, and 2) the long reach hose with the wireless switch at the end.
Now I can pull any of my cars into the garage and vacuum them out without the loud noise in my ear or fighting with the cord. The remote on/off switch is a really nice feature, but the first night I had it, I left the main switch on wireless and some RF signal turned it on during the night. So the lesson is, only turn it on wireless when you are using it!
Plenty of extra hose attachments make this a versatile tool for any shop.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Tommy Use it as a central vac Great for pet hair
Have to many cats. Could not take the fur. The kitchen was the biggest problem. I bought two. Instead of buying another hose, the price for the hose and shipping was half of the price of a new vac. So I bought the other vac for the attachments. Now I have two of everything and 40 feet of hose. I go everywhere in my house. I even vac the kitchen counters with my second brush only for the kitchen counters. I mounted the vac under my basement stairs and use it like a central vac on my hardwood floors on the 2 upper floors. Keeps the noise downstairs, plus no air blowing out of the vac to blow the fur around. Every so often I have to pluck the fur out of the wide attachment with the brush edge. But it is worth it because it does not scratch the floors. Love it. Love the remote. The remote is the curved attachment that has no wires. You don't even need it attached to the vac to turn on or off.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Yeti50 Good Vacuum, good price and super convenient to have mounted on the wall and out of the way.
This is a great little vacuum that I wish I had bought years ago. The wall mounted body with the long hose is much more convenient then lugging the vacuum around it's got plenty of power. I've used it on wood chips and saw dust without a clogging problem and I love the fact that the hose is always there, but out of the way on the wall. The only problem is It doesn't reach all the way to the other side of my two car garage so I will have to get a hose extension or buy another vac for the other wall.
