Rated 2.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Looks like clear poly with a hint of bluish gray after several coats... I wanted the color in the description.:: or was at least hoping for close to it. After the first coat there was a poly shine..: second... Same thing with a hint of blue/gray... Third time was almost the same, MAYBE slightly darker? 4th coat was about the same... I spent $$ just for a waste of time and effort. Yes, I light sanded between coats but there was minimal difference in color. It looked nothing like the can pic or the website pics... It looked minimally different than clear poly. I sanded it and started over with a light wash of my chalk paint mixed with water and it was exactly what I wanted.., The grain showed through beautifully and I topped that with a coat of poly since its in a high traffic area and I didn't want to use wax... Wish I would have just started with what I had in the first place instead of wasting my time and money March 28, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good, but SUPER light. The product worked well as far as the poly, but after 5 coats on Rubber Tree wood (common from Bare Woods type furn dealer) the color was an Extremely light tint of gray. With one coat I couldn't even tell there was a gray tone to it. After 5 coats it is no where near the color of the samle on the can. Granted it did treat with one coat of pre-stain before application, but just be warned it is very light gray. Also, im not an expert on Rubber tree wood, maybe that has something to do with it. Lastly, it did cause grain pop (mentioned on the can) that had to be sanded down after the first coat. September 8, 2015
