Simply unscrew the fasteners and the grill work comes apart for easy cleaning with a scrub brush, or damp cleaning cloth. It's not all that difficult. For the blades, simple wipe with a damp cloth. NEVER CLEAN WITH THE ELECTRIC CORD PLUGED IN. I should note that these blades are easily bent and could present operating vibration if bent out of place during rotation. As a side note about this product, when operating, insure that there is ample space behind, and around the fan, when in operation. The back plate of the electric motor can get rather hot. So, avoid setting up your fan near drapes and other items that may come in contact with the back of the fan. Read Less

I don't remember any wiring diagram that came with my 20 in. high-velocity floor fan. Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 215 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Fan! The MaxxAir 20in. floor fan really lives up to it's claim of being powerful. It is able to cool off a hot room. l love that it's loud, drowns out the noise, while I sleep.. July 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Blasted while it lasted It would get more stars, even with its short life, but I also perceived an attitude problem. It lasted 17 months, and gave plenty of air while it lasted. The noise didn't matter to me, because I didn't use it in a situation where anyone cared about noise. February 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Fan, blows lots of air. Ordered fan on line (free shipping) and it was shipped with no damage! It's amazing that it did because it wasn't packaged very well! It was easy to assemble, attractive, and it looks like it will be a decent fan for the money if it holds up. I like the way it can be easily adjusted up or down. I purchased it for on the deck to keep mosquitoes away this summer. I would recommend it if you want a low cost and fairly compact 3 speed fan. It blows a lot of air even at low speed! April 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fan This is a great product. We had the last one for 7 years. May 3, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by High velocity fan it cost too much.maxx air high velocity. Makes, too much noise.nice air too loud .the fan cost a pretty penny for what I paid for.i thought it would be a great addition to the house to keep down our cost.its noisier than a home ventilation system. June 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Fan Ever I got this fan for when I'm BBQing and laying in my hammock on the back patio. I love the power of the fan, but the mosquitos and flies probably hate it. March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product is a workhorse. We have it on 24/7 The original reason for the purchase of this fan was to use it as a cooling device for our compressor on our walk-in freezer at our soup kitchen. It needs to run 24/7 and is critical for the smooth running of the freezer which contains thousands of pounds of meat. Most recently we have also used the fan for the installation of new flooring in our kitchen/dining area which serves a free meal to the poor of the community. So far, the fan has been working perfectly, the size is ideal for our purposes, we like the variable speeds, and overall we are very happy with the product. September 19, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by hot back plate of motor Be very careful where you put this fan. The metal backing of the motor's housing gets very hot. It's even too hot to touch after the fan has been running for only a short while. Avoid placing next to items such as drapes and other combustibles. December 18, 2015
