24 in. Direct Drive Tilt Drum Fan-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great buy This fan blows more wind than any other 24in fan I've ever owned. My only critique is that it is very loud for indoors and could use a lower speed selection for those times when less than full artic blasts are desired.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fans at a Great Price Purchased these fans to dry out a rather large area. Ordered two fans that did the job. Could have used three however heavely used the two which stood up to the job. Ran for two and three days straight at a clip without hesitation. Great size and great air flow!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This fan is very efficient, worth every penny. We use this fan in our shop, it really moves the air well for a medium size fan. The tilt feature makes it very versatile for job sites also. We have several fans now and I would buy this fan again as soon as I need another.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fan for our barn We got this fan for our barn to help keep our lambs cool. I shopped around quite a bit online and this was the best value (I got it for $99 at Home Depot on sale). Comes ready to plug in -- you just need to attach the wheels but I didn't do that as it's light enough to just move wherever you need it to be. No vibrations and has two speeds. My cousin will like the color as he went to the University of Tennessee. Color does look nice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very effective, but loud This fan is super effective at moving air as promised, it is very loud though in both low and high modes - probably just fine in a construction situation, but less than ideal in a residential application

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent fan for the price I had been wanting a fan for my garage/shop for the past month or so. Seen this fan in HD and would look at it every time I was in the store. I finally decided to purchase the fan the other day. The box the fan was packaged in was a simple single wall corrugated deal. It was a little smashed and the tape used to seal the box was barely holding it together. I was a little afraid and took a peak inside the box to see if there was any obvious damage before paying. When I got it home and opened the box everything inside was good. No damage and no missing parts. The packaging was really lacking as there was no padding for the fan. There was just a plastic bag around the fan itself. The wheels were just laying at the bottom of the box along with a small box holding the extension legs. The fan itself is a decent looking fan. The bright orange shroud is nice, the front and rear grills pretty thick (a good thing as the fan motor is mounted to this) and painted a shiny black. The legs are also painted a nice shiny black. After taking everything out and having a look I went ahead and decided to put the wheels on as I planned to keep it portable and roll it around. There were no instructions supplied that show how the wheels are supposed to be put on. But by looking at them its obvious they just snap onto the base of the fan. When I went to snap them on, the clips that are supposed to hold the wheels on broke. Looking at the pieces they seem to be made of a very brittle plastic. Maybe thats why the display model was mounted on the extension legs? Either way I decided to just chuck the wheels and put the other mounting feet on and will carry the fan when I need to move it. So now I figured I should plug it in and check the performance/operation of the fan. As I started it up the first thing I notice is how much air this moves. I was expecting the "Low" speed to be a little, well slower. When turned to "Hi" its probably more air flow then I will ever need. The van does produce some noise but should be expected for a fan of this size and the air it moves. One thing that I didnt like during operation and hopefully will not be an issue is that it vibrates. Seems the fan blades are not really well balanced. Overall its not a bad buy for the price. Not sure if the issue I had with the wheels is an isolated issue or if its a common thing.
