Found this product online and read the reviews, which were generally all positive. Ordered it for delivery in 7 to 10 days but it arrived in 4 days. I installed it 3 days later and couldn't be happier with the results. It has been running for 3 weeks and I've not had any problems. Would definitely recommend it to all.

Nothing like crawling in the attic multiple times, to install and remove a fan that lasts 2 weeks.

Installation is easy, as it's only 4 screws. However, this died after 3 years. I keep the breaker off during the winter, and only have this on from June through September. So, 3 months a year, for 3 years was all it took to kill this fan. I'm not impressed at all. I will be replacing with another brand.

Installed fan with little issues. The housing is flimsy so you have to make sure that it does not go out of round, if not the blades will rub the bolts. Once installed I noticed that it stopped working. The Thermostat dial had walked from the 100 degree setting. A few days later motor stopped working all together. Skip the trouble of crawling into your attic multiple times and get a better quality product.

This was relatively easy to install and we do notice a difference in the temperature in our house. It is a good way to stay cool without a big expense.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ross Saved me from buying and running an airconditioner
The all metal sheet steel construction is fairly light and easy to handle and the motor is heavy duty. The thermostat is accurate and works perfectly when mounted next to the unit. This unit was easy for me to install without help and the tabs that come with it adapted it easily to my vent opening. The sheet metal shroud can become distorted and the blades will scrape if you don't use a little intelligence when mounting the unit, but if you are a good handyman, it should be no problem -- it certainly wasn't a problem for me. Of course, if the shroud was cast iron, even the klutzes would have no problem, but then they would complain that it was too heavy to mount. In the two bedrooms under the fan, its noise can be heard, but it is not loud or unpleasant and the fan usually switches off by 10 PM. A remote switch would take care of that if necessary.
Now for the real proof of the pudding.
My house stays noticeably cooler during the day and cools off faster at night. The comfort inside my house has greatly improved because there is no more heat radiating from the ceiling in any of the rooms. Because I live in a dry area, nights are cool and with the help of the fan, the house cools at night and stays comfortable during the day without the air conditioner I was thinking of buying.
Especially with air conditioning, this unit should pay for itself very quickly and if you live in my kind of climate, you will not need to go to the expense of buying and paying to run an air conditioner.
