Don't really know how to explain it more. I just overlap them so there are no holes.

Answer:
I suppose so, but you'd have to offset one panel over the other one to have all the spaces covered. Maybe just go to a solid barrier instead.

But, as you can see in the photography, my installation was not typical. I cut them diagonally for the full length to better fit the lay of the land (used a diamond dust saw which melts the vinyl as much as cuts it). I secured the upper edges with stainless pan-head screws. The verticals you see are the connector and corner frames whicl butt the adjoining edges. The beauty of vinyl is that it never rots -- so I was free to trench the lower edge into the ground around 3" deep, and the vertical framing about 5" deep. This provides excellent stability, and prevents small animals from tunneling under (so far !)
Finally, for irregular cuts around roof drainage pipes, I used a hacksaw blade with handle, heated it with a propane torch, and melted circles, and one other irregular area.
So the short answer is that these trellises are flexible but edged with solid vinyl. And the connector and corner accessories allow them to be joined. Recommended highly. Hope this helps. Read Less

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product product was good . color and everything was right but the area of land where I needed the privacy screen was very difficult to stabilize so could not use the screen without doing major land work .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vinyl Redwood Lattice Very high quality. I cut this lattice into 8 in tall strips to use as a skirt for a garden shed I built. Worked perfectly and looks great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from mixed review Eight panels were purchased to replace aging redwood lattice on the side of the house under the porch. The good: The color was a good match to redwood and ~10 bucks cheaper per panel than real wood. The material was good for my custom installation, needing lots of angles and slots. It is easy to shape with simple hand tools like a saw or snips. The not so good: The panels were shipped rolled up, had to be laid flat for a couple of weeks prior to installation. This vinyl material has little resistance to bending, not thick enough to support its own weight and breaks when it bends. The panels require lots of care and ideally, many hands when installing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Privacy We decided on privacy lattice instead of the regular lattice as we needed a little more privacy on the east side of our deck. The holes in the lattice are smaller than regular lattice. We also wanted Vinyl instead of wood as we knew it would last longer and have little to no maintainance. We had re-finished our deck and used Behr Deck Over in Redwood Naturaltone. This color lattice matches perfectly and looks beautiful. I found it very easy to cut to the size I wanted (I used a 14TPI) Scrolling Jig Saw Blade which cut thru the lattice like butter. I drilled holes where I was going to screw the lattice into the wood just to make the mounting process easier which was a great idea and installation was a breeze. It looks beautiful rain or shine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fence looks good For privacy I had attached panels of dark-stained wood lattice to my black chain link fence. My dog, however, would tear off the strips of the lattice upon seeing anything exciting on the other side of the fence, to the point where almost all the strips were lying on the ground. Attempts to reattach the slats were futile. This vinyl lattice, with its smaller spaces (privacy), is preventing these dog attacks and gives a whole different look to the combined fence line. The panels come rolled inside ample cartons, 2 to a carton. On warm days I gently removed the panels and laid them on the ground in the sun (as it was still cold weather) to flatten them out. They are supposed to be durable in both hot and cold weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent, easy to install Installed 12 sheets to cover the bottom of our deck. If properly installed, which is easy to do, the end product looks fantastic and provides the "finished" and clean look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked out great Put on top of a pergola I built on my back deck. Cools the area down significantly while letting in some light. I love it.
