This is a good quality vinyl fence, seems sturdy and very easy to use. You can cut it if need custom lengths of fence rail. It is a little pricey for 8 feet section, with regard to cost per linear foot so if you have a lot of ground to cover it can add up. Got mine on sale so watch for Home Depot specials. The ease of installation of the Veranda product line by DIY novice saves on labor costs so its well worth it. Best thing is the sections snap into place, no need for any hanging clips or screws. It's easy to complete the project by yourself and can be used as accent fencing also.

Shopping was easy, shipping was fast, fence rails arrived in good condition. Only problem was that they didn't fit in my fence post. I had to return them and order from another store. Return process was painless.

I ordered these to use for a non-fence application, and was happy with the ease of ordering and delivery (although my 5 item order came in 5 separate shipments...Mr UPS Driver probably hated that!). However, the description and photos on the HD website do not show the tabs cut in the ends of the rails. I'm sure for the intended use, fencing, these are welcome, but I wanted just plain rails. It would be helpful if the online description was a bit more complete, so perhaps my noting this in the comment section will help future buyers out. The tabs can be popped back in (they are kind of a three sided cut, with the resulting "flap" popped out - there are two such tabs on each end and on each side of the rails. But I still would have preferred the "blank" rail I thought I was ordering. Price is decent, but if you need white, the price on the 16' available in the store is a much better deal.

My wife is a lampworker (flameworker) and she needed a method for storing her many different types and colors of glass rods. PVC pipe is commonly used, but she wanted something that made a more efficient use of space. I used a circular saw to cut each 8-foot piece of rail into six 15 1/2-inch pieces (I cut off the ends where the rails clip together) and used a little light gauge sandpaper to smooth any rough spots. It worked great. The rails did not split or otherwise get damaged, and each piece is very sturdy.

I have used this vinyl fencing to create a number of projects including gates walls and cabinets. It is strong, durable and extremely weather resistant with literally no maintenance required.

Rails light weight and easy to attach to posts.. Only installed one month. Big question is how finish will hold up in hot desert sun over time. Assumed fabricated rails would be perfect, but most exhibit slight warping and a bit of bowing.
