Answer:
Thank you for your question. The material is highly pest resistant but we do not say it is termite proof. However, we have not had reports of the material being affected by termites in over a decade.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. The fencing does not accomodate a 45 degree angle well. The rails can be face mounted, but this would require angle cutting the end of the rail for the angle, which in turn limits to the thickness in attaching the screws into the post and could lead to cracking of the rails. We do not normally recommend this angle in the fencing.

I am looking at using this type of post for outdoor post lights. I would like to remove the composite sleeve, router a channel for wiring, and then put the sleeve back on. Would this be possible?

Answer:
Thank you for your question. The composite can be removed, but will likely be damaged (cracked) in the process. It would take extreme caution, and could lead to a lost expense.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. No, we do not recommend routing the posts. The rails can be fastened with the brackets between the posts, or face mounted to the posts with ceramic lag screws.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by OK product for the money Post could be better if the wood insert was more substantial. Insert also needs to be better secured to the composite cover. It does the job if there is zero stress on this decorative unit. March 24, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by The product is what we wanted Ordering online was rather confusing. The product did not come with mounting brackets for our fence section. This should have been brought to our attention during our online order. May 27, 2014
