How flexible is this item. Walls are slightly curved, a bit challenging to find this width in pvc but this seems like a good choice. Thoughts? Fairly new to PVC trim.

(1) Use stainless screws: Fastenmaster worked well for us, e.g. FastenMaster Model # FMTT158-75WHPVC Home Depot Internet # 202502287 Store SKU # 848037
(2) Screw holes: DO NOT fill the screw holes with white sealant, like we did on one job. Sealant remains sticky after it cures and attracts dust. Every "white" screw hole will become a gray spot after a few months. Instead, drive the screw in carefully until they are slightly less than flush. Then apply a dab of very white paint, e.g. Benjamin Moore Super White, to fill the hole. A Q-Tip works well.
(3) Seal cut edges: If you have any exposed edges or end surfaces that you cut with your saw, seal them. When you cut PVC trim you open up the 'pores', which will collect dust. The sides of production pieces are sealed, and you need to do the same thing. Fortunately it's easy: Just wipe the surface with a clean rag lightly soaked in acetone. Be sure to wear a glove, because acetone is absorbed through your skin. Avoid any drips on the finished surface, because the acetone will dull the production finish.
I hope this is helpful.

This product will work perfectly as a baseboard in your basement or areas with high moisture. The Veranda HP trim board is flexible enough for curved applications. Hope this information helps out.

Answer:
Yes, PVC everything is great in basements that often get wet. Won't harbor mold growth or discolor when wet, which will happen some day in every basement. Also very flexible as a base to push down to flooring before anchoring to conform to concrete slab basement floors that are often very uneven at their edges.

Answer:
All sides smooth, but note the ends exhibit a type of "end grain" analogous to wood, so depending on your application and level of finish you are trying to achieve, you may need to use a mitered return if you have exposed ends.

Is this product suitable to repair the bottom face of a metal outside door that has rusted. What type sealer or caulk (silicone or polyvinyl) is best for adhesion and long life to prevent moisture to get between the door and the repair PVC facing? The door never sees direct sunlight.

It should work fine, if it is attached correctly. I don't know how you are attaching it, but I would advise SS screws with predrilled holes. If you are concerned with "bonding", then get the Loctite 2 in 1 (bonding and sealing). It can even be used in a wet environment and is more expensive but will provide you with a waterproof seal, which is probably what you are concerned about, since the door rusted. If you are going to paint the door, I recommend 100% acrylic. Most silicone caulks aren't paintable, so if you plan to paint the door, I wouldn't advise silicone. If you want even greater adhesion, get some Loctite PL adhesives. They work great for adhesion to anything you can imagine. Read Less

This sells as a package of 6 boards, but you can go to your local store, and they usually stock individual pieces. If they don't have the specific size I need, I will usually get the larger size and rip it. The stuff is easy to cut.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this product Have white house so creating fence with this product means no painting! PVC has great durability and easy to cut/work with. (Only time will tell how fade/yellowing proof it is) May 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very pleased with this product I ordered five boxes of 6 boards each. Built privacy panels incorporating privacy lattice. While the boards are rather sharp on the edges, they were quite easy to work with and created a really nice end result. I'm ready to buy Veranda sleeves for the pressure treated posts. Should make a really nice fence. July 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works just fine Used this product on some outside trim replacing old rotted wood. Light weight.....Easy to cut and round off corners. Left it unpainted as my house trim is white. Looks nice. Time will tell if it holds up to the elements. So far very happy with it. March 31, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product is high quality at an affordable price. Great Value. This product cuts and nails like wood, but is more durable.
