Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by eric so dissapointed
buy another gate. I hope people over at Barrette Outdoor Living read this. Such a terrible gate.
- instructions were incredibly vague
-not all hardware was included
-no mention about cutting the vinyl pieces upon description
-i question how long the gate will last, considering it's just glue that holds the end/side pieces on
* i've put together many gates. this one is an absolute joke. Barrette needs to rethink the longevity and easy of use for a simple VINYL gate.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Contractor BUYER BEWARE!!! Major Assembly Required - Poor Directions - Not As Described
Problem #1: Inaccurate Product Description by the Home Depot.
Problem #2: Assembly directions and pics are vague at best and mostly wrong.
Problem #3: Requires cutting, screwing and gluing of parts.
Problem #4: Parts shipped for say a 44" wide gate are not to size so after it was assembled and glued together the gate width was too large for opening and since it was glued couldn't be reworked in structural slots. Ugh!
Ended up not being able to use it and $150 down the drain.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rick Good quality but should have been more complete
This gate is a fixed width and fixed height therefore all parts could have been (should have been) ready to assemble. But instead, the angle brace part is not cut to length nor are the ends cut to the necessary angle and it is not predrilled for installation. Cost cutting at its worst leaving it to the consummer to make an unrecoverable mistake. It would have cost no more that $2 to have this part ready to install out of the box.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by textommyboy Nice vinyl gate with not so good instructions.
We got this vinyl gate to match the vinyl fencing surrounding our upstairs deck and to keep our dogs from going downstairs. It's taller than the fencing but was the only gate wide enough for the stair case. It looks and functions fine but the instructions are not written very well and we ended up not using the cross beam (for now).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lanakila Perfect for our needs
We adopted a dog who was small enough to escape between the bottom of the pointed pickets of our previous gate. This gate is perfect for us because it has a solid piece across the bottom. We trimmed the width of the gate easily by trimming the top and bottom rails.

You have to glue this gate together. Open ends, no end caps available.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by willy I like the aluminum support in the bottom rail
If it had aluminum support in the side posts it would be excellent. I worry about how long the latch mechanism will stay mounted as it is only secured with screws going into plastic.
