Answer:
There is no need to add a support block to the bottom rail of a fence as the Veranda Pro Series fence panels are designed not to sag.

This post would allow for the post to be buried about 24 inches. What if the frost line is below 24 inches?

Would this post still be ok or is there another solution I could use to make sure frost doesn't heave my post out of the ground?

Answer:
If the frost line is located below 24 inches we recommend using a 4x4 treated post to provide the extra depth needed.

Answer:
No, our posts have been designed as a structural post and do not require wood post inserts. If needed, wood post inserts could be used at the corner and end of your fence run to provide additional strength.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great looking fence! This review will cover all the different parts to the set I received. All components of the fence look great and are of top quality. It is pretty time consuming as far as putting the fence up, but not any different than a usual fence. This vinyl material will not fade, wear, rust, etc and it is very easy to clean with a pressure cleaner in a lot less time than any wood fence. Received 6 panels and a gate and it looks great! Comes with all support beams, caps, etc. Very happy with this fence and would recommend selecting this type of fence over any other material. March 1, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice fence but hard to assemble I obtained this fence to enclose the area where I store all my spare fencing and plumbing supplies for my ranch. This review is going to cover all six of the items that I received to build the fence. I am giving it a four rating because of the difficulty in assembling the fence and the problems with the directions. I breed horses on my ranch and have built literally thousands and thousands of feet of pasture fencing. This fence is the most difficult to install I have ever had to build. The saving grace is that is is a really nice looking and sturdy fence when it is finished. My biggest gripe about the instructions is that the boxes for the panels talk about and illustrate a 6' x6' panel. In reality the assembled panel is 5' 6" on center. This is a problem both in laying out the fence and in boring the post holes. If you expect 6 panels to go 36 feet you will be disappointed since they will only go 33 feet. Finally the snap together system is hard to assemble. In an attempt to simplify fence building all that has been done is to make it hard for one person to manage. Add in the vague instructions and this actually took longer than anticipated. Interesting idea to build a fence almost like using Legos. March 17, 2016
