Answer:
Hi fence and thank you for your question. The vinyl posts will need to be buried into the ground in order to support the weight of your new vinyl fence.

Hello,
I have a yard that there is concrete all the way to the fence. I wish to place a fence up covering my neighbor's fence on my property. Can this be braced to the concrete like you would a wooden fence?
Thank you.

Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question. We do not recommend installing this fence to a solid surface, the posts need to be buried into the ground in order to provide proper support for your fence panel. Doing otherwise may void your warranty.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So easy to assemble. This was my first time building a vinyl fence. It was so easy to do....the posts are easy to cut when you need to adjust the size. It is so beautiful. September 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great fence I'm a DIY woman almost 60 years old and this was easy for me to do :). April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for our new privacy fence! These poles are the right match for our new Veranda 6x8 Pro Linden white privacy panels. They look very nice and every panel snaps in properly. We are in a high wind area, so we are using a bit more concrete mix in each pole than the recommended amount. We are also using a couple of screws inside each pole to extra-secure the top rail. It looks great so far. March 28, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by holes didnt line up with the 6 ft fence panels precut holes in the post were 4 inches closer than required for a 6ft fence panel. since i thought these posts were standard for 6ft fence panels and not something that needed to be double checked, i installed the first post as instructions suggested. after concrete has set around the post, and i started to put in the first panel, i saw the problem. (too late to return the post and order new ones) so all fence panel slats had to be cut by 4 inches to make this work not something one would expect from a home depot product when you pay $30 per post (11 posts total) September 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by as advertised good quality the post were heavy duty good quality no defects they look great!! October 28, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fence post slag Posts are as described. However, every one of the 34 posts ordered had pieces vinyl PVC from routed holes, as well as handfuls of PVC sawdust. One would think this would be removed at the factory to produce a quality product. Several posts were damaged in shipment. June 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT replacement for wood. This is the first time I have worked with vinyl fencing, and it isn't as hard as I thought. The key I have discovered is that you MUST have your measurements between posts right on the money. That is critical. Also the depth of the holes is a lot deeper than I had expected at 3 feet below ground level. I feel it was a good choice since I won't be doing this again for a long time. The look is great and the installation was easy. Taking the time to have the post holes at the right measurements will make the job go faster November 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product Works perfectly and easy to handle. I had over 20 of these delivered to my home and not one of them came with any type of damage. May 21, 2013
