The vinal fence panels I have installed are not the same as you have pictured. Mine are "dog eared" boards. Yours have a molding on the top. I want to be able to insert a 2 by 3 inside the hollow cross members.

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.8 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Awful - color does not match posts or brackets I bought wicker fence panels (and they don't even come assembled anymore) and posts at the same time. Product arrived. I dug my holes and set the posts. Go to install the panels and Whoa! The colors of the panels and posts ARENT EVEN CLOSE. The post looks nothing like the panel, and the brackets the panel hangs on is a completely different color. What the heck am I supposed to do now? This looks horrible!!! I can't return this because the posts are set in concrete and I had to cut the panels. So now I'm stuck with this monstrosity? Cmon!! This is totally unacceptable. I have attached a photo to show. In the picture you will see the post in the background. On the left is the panel that arrived with the post (with the hanging bracket on the left side of the panel). On the right is a wicker panel I ordered about 4 years ago. As you can see, the new panel IS NOT WICKER IN COLOR. DO NOT BUY THIS UNLESS YOU WANT A FENCE THAT DOESN'T MATCH THE POST AND HANGS IN BRACKETS THAT DO NOT BLEND IN TO THE PANEL. A waste of $80 per panel plus a lot of time on my part. I am extremely disappointed in this product. August 8, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great alternative to wood fencing The appearance of wood fencing degrades in just a few years and I was considering lower maintenance alternatives when the cost of this panel was reduced temporarily. I was hesitant to purchase it because some reviews questioned the structural integrity of the panels, but I had already installed extra fence posts when I thought I'd be building with another material and I knew the extra posts would keep it rigid. But when the pickets and rails are installed correctly, the panels are very strong. I don't understand how the reviewer had an issue with wind blowing it apart. Since I had my posts already installed, I had to improvise the installation slightly. That is, I screwed the panels directly into 2 x 4 rails that I had attached to the posts instead of using the brackets. This method worked out well and I covered the screws by removing the rails from one side, attaching the panel to the rail and re-installing the rails over the screws. My daughter helped me assemble the panels and it was a great project for us to do together. We finished about 60 feet of fencing in a couple of hours. She got a good sense of accomplishment. Of course, I haven't mentioned how many more hours I spent digging post holes, attaching the rails and everything that was complete before the panels went up. August 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value My first attempt at installing vinyl fence. Each panel needs assembling so beware if your knees are bad! Wasn't difficult, just tough on the knees. March 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good purchase Product was made similar to other types of fencing products. Easy to assemble. July 26, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Great - Don't buy for security Not the same quality of fence that the store used to carry. Extended the back yard fence - Fence install was pretty easy and looks great. Not a secure fence though, very easy for my dog to push through the slats and create his own flap doggie door.. Fence pops right back, so still looks good - but would never purchase this again. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Substandard Terrible. Hard to assemble hard to get everything lined up substandard materials a constant fight trying to get the whole fence together June 14, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do Not Recommend Although this product may work for some, we have not been satisfied. Due to the appearance of the product and recommendations from a Home Depot associate, we purchased over $5,000 worth of this product to fence in our backyard for privacy and for our large dog. We had it installed by an independent contractor. Within one month, a couple of the panels fell down during a relatively light wind. We could hear the panels "creaking". We are in an open area and started to question the durability of this product. During the next weather event, more panels fell down and one broke. We called Home Depot and were advised that we had one year to return the product. We decided that since it was now fall and it was such a big job, we would wait it out and see if we changed our minds. Not only did it get worse, but our dog realized he could push through the "weak" gate and get out. We called Home Depot and were told not only did we receive incorrect information as far as the return period. We talked to a manager and he said he would talk to the store manager to see if they could "work" with us and he would call me back. We waited a week and did not receive a call back. Called back and talked to the same manager and he said he lost our phone number but they could "unfortunately" not do anything for us. We have contacted the vendor. April 17, 2016
