Hi dbuzdor and thank you for your question. No, our vinyl products are not paintable, doing so will damage the finish and void the warranty.

I am having a contractor install, I ONLY need to order it correctly. I have a 50% grade to accommodate on 3 stairs in about 5 feet. How many posts and brackets etc will I also need to order??

I sent his question a few minutes ago but on preview I see that I left out one letter on the email. This would not let me correct to send.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Required modification for installation The quality is fine, but as others have mentioned, the holes only work to a certain angle. How hard would it have been to allow a little more adjustment in manufacture? I have to go back and use a special 1/2" belt sander (from the well known HF store) to bevel each hole to accommodate the required angle. This is unacceptable. June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Stair kit, ordered it on line. Picked it up at local Home Depot. It came sooner than they told me. Every thing was in box, in great condition. Will order on line again. December 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to install. Easy instructions to follow. Great looking product. Put up entire railings for porch in an hour. Can be installed with one person. No need for a helper. June 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best ever got very easy to install and great quility and was great July 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Sturdy and nice product for the money I looked at several rails at several stores before ultimately deciding on this. I was unsure that the quality would not be comparable with the other, higher priced brands but I was wrong. The rail is very very sturdy and feels solid on my staircase. My stairs are angled further than recommended (37°) but I was able to still use these by back cutting the holes with a dremel tool. This allowed me to angle the rail just a little more and work with what I needed. Overall a very good product that I will be buying more of in order to do the rest of my decks/porches. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product, Good Value, Easy to install I installed the railings on a small deck with many angles that is four feet off the ground. Pay attention to the description letting you know the angle of the stairs that it will accommodate. Although I have a good bit of construction experience, I thought it would be very easy to use even for a beginner. Great value and the finished product was great. May 2, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good product/Poor directions As an avid DIY, with with over 40 years of experience, I found this stair kit a little difficult to install for my application. First of all, the directions were very difficult to understand and the pictures/diagrams were small and hard to see, somewhat washed out on my copy. As another reviewer commented the angle adjustment of the rail brackets was not suitable for all applications. I found out I could reverse the rail bracket assembly to gain a little more angle which did work on my stairs. The finished product does look good but I recommend doing a couple of dry runs before actually doing the final assembly. March 17, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by The product does not work on all stair angles We purchased this to update 20 year old pressure treated railings. Our home has normal stairs (we replaced them as well) but found out that these stair rails will not fit a 37 degree stair angle...who knows what their stair angle is? we certainly did not know ours until after the fact. We can't use the stairs. Angle requirements are not mentioned in description. September 16, 2012
