I expected that the spindles were made of the same material as the top rails. Tot the case. Still an excellent value. Having fun installing on porch.

Was fairly easy to assemble for someone who never did before. You just have to make sure you measure properly. Our porch looks GREAT!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by LSDIY Great Product but Read Details!
Product is outstanding. My only warning is to fully read the specifications before purchasing. If you need an 8 ft. railing then don't buy this because the actual length is well short of 8 ft. I ran into this problem with the 6 ft. one. I needed 6 ft. so purchased the 6 ft. one only to discover that it is several inches short of 6 ft. When I went back in and read all the details of the item it tells me the exact length.
Just be careful and read all the specs. I've installed my new railing and absolutely love it. The product is great and I recommend it to everyone.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LadyJane51 Replaced Wooden Railings
Used this in replacing wooden railings that were starting to decay. Easy to install and I did it all myself.(I'm a 63 yr old female!). Resembles the old wooden rails. Cost of vinyl is more than wood but seeing as I don't plan to have to do this again, the cost is well worth it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Robmeister Online Purchase Delivered to Store
This product is delivered as an unassembled kit. The kit package is 4.5" x 6" x 97" shrink wrapped in plastic. It does not include any parts to attach the rails to your posts. I ordered 4 kits, and they came all together in one cardboard box that was 9 ft long, i.e. too big, empty space at one end. The box suffered severe damage caused by careless handling by the commercial shipper. One end crushed, the other end torn open. However, the product inside was not damaged.

You can cut the 8 footer. Cutting the vinyl top and button rails is easily done with a miter saw. The top rail has a metal piece inside for strength. You will have to remove it and cut it with a hack saw or a chop saw.
