Can I use this product for stairs?

My stringer requirements for stairs that I am building require a 10" tread. Can I cut this to depth and use it for that purpose? Is there a problem with wear when it is used in this application? My stringer spacing will be 12". Thanks.
Asked by: Chris
yes it works well but you need to get the Model# BRDVC BW 8 for a finished look

Can you get the Brazilian walnut boards without a groove ? And in what lengths?

Asked by: Roger
Yes but it most likely will need to be ordered special. I have seen on occasions that they might have a few in stock but rarely.

Only available as ship to home

The answer to the first question above is that it would be in stock unless it was a small store. This item is not in stock anywhere in California/ Arizona area. To ship to home costs about $10 per piece adding over $200 to the cost of my material. Can anything be done? Why cant it ship to store like the regular size deck boards?
Asked by: PeeWee
Thank You for the reply but I was referring to Arizona where Brazilian Walnut color is in stock on the shelf. They don't stock the fascia but only the deck boards and the website does not give you a ship to store option. I also checked nearby California stores which nobody had in stock either.

This caused huge issues when trying to continue a facia run. Butt ends are not finished. Cannot even back cut 45's to finish ends due to the color not continuing through the board.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product does not clean well as indicated under warranty Bought the Brazilian Walnut. The product does not clean well and mud will not come off even with cleaner authorized by manufacturer. Am totally disappointed with product. Beware of implied warranty. Manufacturer will not back up.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Veranda Great product, a little on the expensive side. I ordered through Home Depot and was not happy with Home Depot website saying shipping is free to the store. This is very misleading. The customer must pay shipping. I paid 130.00 for a product that is manufactured in my home state. For this reason as a contractor I will not recommend or be using this product. Lowes does not have this policy.

I had several rugs at the entry way to the house and the rugs turned the boards white. I was using the heavy brown outdoor matts with the rubber backing so beware. Be careful of the temperatures the day you install it as you have to adjust the cut length for expansion. I would use the "T" tabs in between the boards because the ones that Veranda recommends seem to come loose during the hot and cold months and you can't get to them to tighten them up once they work loose.
