Can i get post wraps for 6"x6"x8'?

I will have some 6x6 post extending above my deck connected by 2x8 and boxed in to house drop down shades. I would like to have matching composite railing but only if it all matches. I'll use deck boads or facial boards to cover the boxed in portion overhead.
Asked by: JP
Thank you for your question. We do not offer any sleeves or wraps for a 6x6" post.

Lots of contradictions from the Veranda Specialist

My question is to the Veranda specialist who is responding to these customers. Your answer to one question about how to fasten a piece of wrap that is close to the house where the customer couldn't get a drill into was to just use the adhesive without screws (makes sense since there's no way to screw them in), however in the next answer you give to someone is that screws must be used because the adhesive won't hold without them (sucks for the first guy). Then in your last answer you state that there's supposed to be a gap between the post and the wrap to allow for twisting of the wooden post. If that's the case then what is the adhesive adhering to? It seems as though in an effort to answer everyones questions you are contradicting yourself.
Asked by: BArmstrong
Thank you for your comments. The wrap installation instructions specify the use of adhesive and in the first case, this can be used to hold the wrap in place that is close to the house as screws cannot be installed. It may not adhere permanently, but it is the only option. The remaining 3 sides will have a slight gap to the post and the screws will secure the wrap.

Do you have a sleeve product instead of the 4 sided wrap?

Asked by: nick
Thank you for your question. No, we do not offer a sleeve for the ArmorGuard railing.

ArmorGuard 48 in. x 5 in. x 5 in. Brazilian Walnut Composite Post Wrap is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from A lot of work These wraps look good but assembly was hard for first one then got better. The sleeves really are much better. Hardware was of very poor quality, pilot holes are mandatory because screw heads strip very easily

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Never again! As a contractor I have installed a fair number of composite decks (mostly Trex), but this was my first time using Veranda decking and rail systems (customer requested). I was not impressed! Although not difficult to install, they do require far more work than is necessary to achieve the look and function! Most other manufacturers use a one piece unit that simply slips over the post as opposed to this four piece debacle. All in all, this is a very poorly thought out design.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks Good Overall I was skeptical how easy these would be to install due to the fact they are in 4 separate pieces. After the first one, took about 15 minutes a piece to install. Ended up fitting very nice just have to be very careful that the 4x4 posts are straight. Any twist in then at all will result in not being square and post caps not fitting. The look of the composite is very nice and has not shown any signs of fade or stain. They are expensive but I did not want to mess with maintenance so this was one of a few options. They arrived in the estimated time however half of them were not in the original wrapping and appeared they had just been thrown in the box. Some were missing screws however I had some leftover from doing the deck boards so that wasn't a huge deal.
