Customer Reviews

Rated 2.0 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality As mentioned in another review, they are very inconsistent. I was amazed (and pretty disappointed) at the variance in size (width) of the these units. One would think that a manufactured product like this would be more consistent. Although having the baluster holes pre drilled is a nice feature (since it eliminates the need to lay out and drill the holes), the execution of said predrilling is sub par at best. June 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Look great, but takes time and you need to know how to build things These post are relatively easy to put together, but you do need a good background on be able to build things and think a step or two ahead. Each one takes about an hour to put together . Making ones for stairs take longer and you have to be able to work with angles and probably a different angle for the top than the bottom. If you expect these to be easy like the PVC ones, they aren't,but they end up 10x better. If you are not handy, have someone install them for you. It's not rocket science, but you do need patience and the ability to think about how things go together. The worst part is that the square head color match screws are not big enough and the bits don't fit good at all. They start stripping the heads right away. You need to grind the square bit down a bit to make the square smaller. Veranda supplies a slightly large screw head square for the shorter screws used for the stair angle brackets, but not the longer screws that are harder to screw in. I should write an article now that I'm finished with my deck about all of the things that Veranda should modify to make things go together much better! May 18, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great when you get finished I have no idea how a DYI could ever make this material work. The posts are difficult to put together and that is only the start of the issues. October 1, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very hard to work with Looks great when it is complete. There is nothing about this railing system that is designed you any DIY. October 2, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by looks good when you finally get it done. Product is very inconsistent and difficult to work with. Cannot imagine a homeowner putting it together. September 7, 2012
