Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 These panels cannot handle the temperatur changes of the weather without cracking and bowing. This product obviously isn't designed to be used outdoors. If it were, it would be able to handle temperature changes of the weather without cracking and bowing. Every panel I have installed has cracked due to the poor quality of the vinyl. I have tried several different methods of hanging it, as well as having a carpenter hang a few panels, and it still cracks and bows. It is truly garbage. Buy wooden panels and stain them. You will be much happier. Check the other reviews. March 21, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by terrible product I bought 30 of these one year ago and not one survived the summer. I fallowed the installation instructions perfect and everyone of them started to warp and crack. Even the 2 that i didn't use and put in the shed cracked from the heat. Terrible service from the manufacture and bogus warranty. they wont help after 10 months good luck on the lifetime warranty July 18, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Just wasted cost of 8 lattices plus cost to carpenter to install Terrible, they look good, but aren't worth a darn. Had them installed, they are hanging with all sides in brackets, but they are crooked and twisted every morning and it is only in the 60's. By late morning they are soft and pliable and straighten themselves out, I hate to see what happens when it gets into the 40's this winter and 100's this summer, so sorry I purchased, gotta see what recourse I have since its only been almost 2 weeks. They should not be advertised as something to be used outside in the changing temps. March 27, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Would I buy it again yes!! I found the product to work just fine if you know how to actually install it. You have to give it a sort of "frame" to support it. I added it to my porch to make it more private and it allows my small pets a chance to go "outside" in good weather. My porch is large {40x8} and faces full sun so the panels get rather "hot" for lack of a better word we also get quite a bit of snow and freezing temps. in the winter. I found {after we put it on} that you should NOT screw it in tight, my fault, I read it on the product, but it happened. It needs to be placed securly but because it swells it does need the room. I've had this very product on my porch for about ten + years, There is some very small cracking where the screws went in, but like I said, it was really my own darned fault. And BTW, I am a woman, when I bought it I was only 35 with no special skills, I just used common sense installing it! March 18, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product This product is great! I installed it overhead to add shade to a garden area where we grow a lot of ferns and such. When we had our roof replaced (about 12 yrs ago), I saw one of the roofers actually step on this product and it held his weight. But this was because I had screwed the lattice in place. We've had it in place for about 14 yrs. I'm replacing it now because of all the abuse it took over the years. The wood lattice I used before only lasted a few years before it rotted out and needed replacing. This vinyl lattice definitely held up MUCH better than the wood lattice does. July 19, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Product largely because of painting/maintenance, I paid a premium price (more than cedar Panels) and purchased 9 of these, to underpin my walkout deck.. I framed each panel on a 4x4 post and used the recommended moldings, a $300+ investment. I liked to finished look, but noticed after a week or so the panels were "bowing". I used 1x2 's on all 4 side and front and back to frame each panel. But did not screw to the lattice, so it could, as recommended "float" with temperature change. We had a very windy day and all 3 of the panels on one side blew out and broke and shortly after two of the three on the opposing end did the same, the material is way to brittle. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. I am now going to rebuild and use wooden lattice, so I now I am out the $300+ investment. I now will spend another $300+ for cedar panels. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!! November 17, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by My dog thinks its delicious Have this around my yard. It's a nice change from your standard wood privacy fence. Be sure and screw it down well along the panels or it will sag in the hot Saint Louis weather. My dog thinks it is delicious so I have to buy a few new panels. :p July 13, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent for my intended purpose! Put a large panel of the white, vinyl privacy-style lattice on the very end of my front porch for a little more privacy and it looks as good today in 2014 as it did back in 2009! I'm thrilled that it has worked so well and have had zero problems with it! It must, however, be installed just right to stay put and we also added a lovely two-sided frame for it to give it a more finished appearance. The framing pieces were also from HD and went up around the lattice like a picture frame and is held in place by special type of white caulking. We are now going to get another section of this to secure the open end of our garden fence which backs up to our large shed. To keep critters out of the garden, this lattice will be perfect there and will keep the critters from squeezing through the larger openings on the normal-size lattice. So, I guess you see why I'm a huge fan of this stuff! We live in NC and have very hot days and severely cold ones too, so this vinyl larttice was made to last decades. April 18, 2014
