I don't understand why the other reviewers are complaining about the lack of instructions. They are provided with each part of the Barette Veranda kit as a PDF right here on the Home Depot site... You can read the whole thing before purchasing, so that you can be sure the instructions are clear. We have the railings, and I really like the way they look. I chose not to use the 5x5 post sleeves because they made the posts look too big - went with painted wood instead. Even combined with the vinyl railings, it looks great.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Rembo Decent quality but no instructuins
These are the mounting pieces necessary to mount the veranda stair pro stair rails. You will need one package per complete rail. This is not immediately obvious since there are no instructions on either package.
The end result looks decent but you have have mcGuyver things to make it work.
Especially considering these things are not cheap, it is super frustrating they don't come with any instructions. The manufacturer's website also does not have instructions on this particular system
That's why I think it is a very poor value.

Horrible bracket. No instruction on how to Install, unable to even find any kind of help on the Web on this item. Too bad because this product's quality is pretty good. If you end up buying the "Contractor's Choice Stair Kit" you will have to buy this bracket kit for you angle drop. Will never buy. Buy at your own risk.
