We are putting up a 6 ft x 6 ft x 6ft enclosure against the house. It will only have 3 sides with 1 side having a gate. Since the gate is 4 ft wide we only need a 2 ft of panel to complete the side with the gate. Can we cut it down?

Would like a tan 4 ft high by a total of 30 ft, 18x12 but part of that would be a 4ft gate? So can panels that are 8ft Width be made less width to accommodate the only 30 ft we need in "total"?

I was thinking of making footings with round 12" concrete forms with the posts set into the form. How tall should the footings be for a 15 foot long fence.

Answer:
We do not have a standard for this. For normal fence installation we recommend getting your post hole down to frost depth in your area.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fine quality; easy to assemble This panel is easy to put together, is sturdy material, and I've owned it for a few months now and it has held up to some nice wind storms we've had this spring, upwards of 40 to 50 mile per hour gusts. Happy with the product so far. July 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product Great Product. My yard is not level and this was easy to install on a slope. Look is clean and very durable. Gate was a little pricy but i think it was worth it. October 9, 2012
