Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dutchdaddy Excellent product and great pre-sale support!
Contacted manufacturer, as my bride really wanted this black iron baluster setup, which the HomeDepot site was not clear enough how to order. Response time was under an hour to my email. Marie, was her name, did not only provide an accurate answer, she provided the SKU numbers, making ordering a hundred times easier. Hat off to her. SKU's Marie provided are copied and pasted below.
Unrouted Regency rails 2pk: #812375
Round metal baluster 20pk: #189080
Baluster stair adapter 40pk: #205543992
The rails are interchangeable as line or stair rails, so the hardware would also be purchased according to the application:
Line hardware 4pk: #822704
Stair Hardware 4pk: #822770

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Petebob Bracket good, hardware terrible
I had most of this product done by a professional that is a friend of mine.
I have to agree with many others about this product. The brackets were fine but the screws are complete garbage. The screws are cheap and stainless coated, then they paint the heads. Do not mistake these for being totally stainless as stainless is a very hard material.
Throw the screws out and make sure to predrill everything. Make sure you have a variety of length bit holders. Buy decking screws and paint the heads the appropriate color.
I do not see the value in this kit and the brackets seem expensive at $4/bracket basically.
Might be able to do better in the hardware department. There has to be a better alternative than this!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by CompositeDecker Required - screws are horrendous
The steel connectors are fine. The screws are absolute trash. They would strip at the drop of a hat - especially the longer ones. The short ones would sometimes skip and get stripped just screwing it into the rails. I ended up using the shorter screws but had to use decking screws (with the regular rails) and wider head screws that I had for the stair rails. Really disappointing that something that is 'required' for doing these railing is of such poor quality. Simple solution for the company would be to make the indents for the screws (I dont know what you would call it) about 1/32 of an inch deeper - then your screw head wouldnt pop out at strip them.
Over all disappointing. To bad because their rails are great.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by curt Post kits are not compatible with the Veranda railing hanging hardware.
The post kit is an awesome product itself, but when it comes time to hang the rails to the vinyl post sleeve, the hardware kit that must be purchased separately for $17.77 per post does not work. I have tried all day to mount rails on 4 posts. I have broken bits, ran to home depot, tried to find more compatible screws etc. . Doesn't work as the screws are too long and must penetrate the steel post center. drilling on an angle etc. is ruining the vinyl rails.
I want a refund if anyone from Home Depot is reading!!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mark High price to pay for poor quality
First, I would like to say that the Veranda railing is a wonderful product and has made my deck look great!
I read a review for the mounting hardware from September 2014 that stated the screws were easily stripped and the reply from the company saying that they were sorry. I bought the hardware thinking that the company would have corrected this problem by now.
I was wrong; the short screws that attach the hardware to the railing works great but the longer screws that attach the railing to the post will strip so frequent that I had to but a box of quality deck screws.
At $16.58 a pack you would think that the company would provide good quality screws.
I think Home Depot or Veranda should reimburse me for the deck screws I had to purchase to install the rails.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BenL Required, but poor quality screws
If you buy the veranda composite rails (which are great), you'll need these. However, the screws are terrible and strip (even using the provided driver and pre-drilling holes, are guided) very easily. At $16.50 (what I paid), for four brackets and the screws, they can afford to give you decent screws.
Save yourself the hassle and buy better quality screws for use with these. Remember, if the screws you buy do not have white heads, you may also want to buy a can of white rustoleum touch up paint too.
