Answer:
Hi Mish, take the arbor out of the hole saw, then you can take a punch or Phillips screw driver and tap the abs on one side until the other side rises up and you can get it out.

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.8 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Carbon Hole Saw sharp teeth and very easy to use. The mandrel is easy to remove and replace cutters. Just make sure you tighten the nut on the mandrel with a wrench to keep it from spinning and it will cut very nicely. June 24, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good But Not What I Was Looking For I was needing to cut a hole through a 2 x 6 and 2 x 4. Several of them by the way and found that the arbor and the saw are too shallow to completely go through the board. I had to look for the arbor hole on the other side of the board and cut from that side. I do that most of the time to prevent a punch out but in the case all I needed was some holes and the punch out didn't matter. For thinner material, probably no more than 3/4" thick they would do pretty good but for anything thicker it would be better to spend the extra dollars for a full size (depth) hole saw. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't bother I should have known better from the other reviews, but I decided to give it a shot in a pinch. The mandrel refuses to stay tight, even when wrenched together, and the bit is much too shallow to get through framing lumber. Returning it! April 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Choice Great Kit to meet multiple needs. Very versatile. I would add it to your toolbox. December 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hole saws - I made some modifications I drilled a test hole with one of the saws - it was a tad too large. And I mean a "tad" (very little!), but too large nonetheless. I looked carefully at the saw design and determined that the actual cutting teeth are angled outward from the main body. I ground those teeth ever so slightly and and re-drilled - the new hole was absolutely perfect! I then used that modified saw to drill the actual project hole. Perfect! Obviously, this is not why one purchases a hole saw (so you can tinker and modify it). But these hole saws, although stamped, are very sharp and will do the job. I just needed an absolute perfect fit for what I was making. June 2, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Save your Money These saws are worthless. There are only a few teeth on each saw and they take an eternity to cut through even the thinnest wood. Bought these for a quick fix on the road and returned them the next day. Thankfully HD was courteous about the return and there was no hassle. May 26, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Save your money Unless I got a set that didnt have the part that actually holds the mandrel on to the hole saw, this set is not worth the money. I wouldn't take this set if someone gave it to me for free! mandrel is constantly losing grip and spinning, and there is nothing that actually holds the hole saw on to the mandrel - it just spins freely until it grabs. It worked for plastic but I doubt it would work for anything else. I plan on returning it if they'll take it back. March 27, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not buy Not worth a penny. It burned more wood than it cut. Bought it yesterday taking it back today. More teeth might have helped some. May 30, 2015
